Genuine business accounts (meaning that the account type itself and all encompassed subscription types are B) are not eligible for NVP discounts, unfortunately. (How can a business be employed somewhere, y'know? ^^,) Business customers receive business incentives and discounts of their own. That aside, employer verification for national discounts is performed under the account holder's name. In short: Yes, you would need to be set up individually.

Re: Music Store and FM Trans. questions. HELP!
Dec 27, 2006, 5:09 PM
in the LG Fusic / LX-550 forum

The Sprint Music Store media player is designed specifically to play files downloaded using that service. They're formatted differently than the MP3 files you'd be placing on your memory card manually, so, to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to integrate the two. (Files downloaded from the music store ARE stored on your memory card by default, though, so you're welcome to stick your music in that folder and give it a shot.) MP3 files you've added ...

Cellenator said: Which negates everything you're trying to say, Sprint CS DOES SUCK! On the contrary, sir! We Sprint employees deal with the squishy innards of the company on a daily basis; we have access not only to the same products, services and support resources that you do, but also the well-oiled machines behind the scenes which keep said resources available and running smoothly. You, as a consumer, are viewing the tasty candy shell and assuming the filling. We, on the ...

No. The 700p operates using a Palm OS, not Windows Mobile.

I think the Fusic is a really awesome phone, personally. I've never had any problems with the call quality or speaker volume, and the media players and FM transmitter = w00t. (This may be irrelevant to the original poster, but some dude replied and called my phone a piece of "garbage" and I simply MUST speak out! ARRRRHHH! ) Anyway... The 8400 would probably be a good bet for you, as it encompasses all of your "biggies" rather well. Sanyos, ...

Word, buddy. I'm more than satisfied with the voice services offered by Sprint. If you truly wish to experience "sucky," try Cricket. Blegh.

Thank you so much for the wonderful explanation! Now, not only do I understand that this scenario is unrealistic, but I also understand WHY, which is important. I appreciate your help. Lots! Thanks again. :)

Overseas Imports (Unlocked & Activated)
Nov 21, 2006, 6:19 PM
in the Sprint forum

Forgive my ignorance on this topic, but how does one go about activating a foreign cell phone purchased from a website like WirelessImports.com? According to that site, the phones for sale are already unlocked and compatible with certain US carriers. But, as a Sprint employee, I know that we're almost always unable to register or activate foreign ESNs. Assuming that the website is accurate and we ARE, somehow, able to activate without any major issues, what about plans and ...

Ehhhmmm... as a Sprint employee AND a former victim of telephone fraud, I'm going to have to advise against the purchase of ridiculously cheap "like new" phones over the internet. If it sounds too good to be true, people, it probably is. :/

In other words, the voice SMS system on the 700p functions in exactly the same manner as all of Sprint's other voice SMS capable phones. :]

Rest assured, my friend, that Sprint is making no pretense of being a warm-hearted, philanthropic, charitable or generally "giving" organization in relation to this promotion or any other. We, the company, are not responsible for making donations; customers are. ;] We're simply allowing them the opportunity to do so by offering the red MOTORAZR at a rate that includes the necessary stuffing. *shrugs* Could be worse...

Main Menu > My Content > Ringers Highlight the file in question and press the right side select button to open your "Options" mini-menu. Scroll down to the appropriate action (you will find that "Delete" is available on this screen) and press OK. Easy enough, huh? :)

in the Article: Review: LG Fusic forum

I've been using a small, local company for my wireless services for more than a year now, and their MMS messaging setup has always allowed me to send my own music files (ringtones) and graphics directly from the e-mail on my home computer to the inbox on my phone. From that point, the "save and set as" process is a snap. True customization is an absolute must for me, as I'm totally uninterested in 80% of mainstream pop culture ...
