Battery Charging Issue
Dec 2, 2008, 10:07 PM
in the BlackBerry Curve 8310 forum

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310 and I recently started having some problems with charging the battery. What happens is that I will charge it and I will notice an hour or so later that the light has turned off. Thinking that the plug has come loose, I will unplug the charger and plug it back in again. Sometimes the light does not immediately come on like it's supposed to. Sometimes I have to jiggle ...

FRIENDS' SPRINT ISSUES
Jul 10, 2008, 10:45 AM
in the Sprint forum

I have some family friends who recently switched to Verizon Wireless from Sprint. Their contract with Sprint ended several months ago and was never renewed. However, Sprint keeps sending my friends a bill every month. What can my friends do in order to get Sprint to quit sending them bills for service they no longer use?

WHO IS HAPPY WITH T-MOBILE?
Jul 10, 2008, 10:24 AM
in the T-Mobile forum

I am wondering who of the PhoneScoop users out there is happy with T-Mobile's service. I have some family friends who have been T-Mobile customers for eight years or so and they are pleased with it. I have heard from others that they are a terrible cell phone provider. Who out there can say positive things about T-Mobile and its service?

I don't have Cricket but I can tell you what 3G means. 3G stands for third generation. 3G technology allows the user to download things off of the internet faster than with an EDGE connection.

This phone looks like it would be perfect for the elderly or people who just want a cell phone without all of the bells and whistles, something that's easy to use. I would love to get this for my father for Father's Day. His phone is three years old and it's almost time to replace it.

I posted something similar. I like the Simply Everything plan that has EVERYTHING. Sprint also gets good coverage at my house, as far as I can tell by the coverage maps.

My mom has AT&T and there was a sales person fed her a line of bull just so that he could get the sale. I don't think it's just Sprint. I think all cell phone store employees with BS you just to sell you something.

To be honest with you, I don't know. I have only seen it work on the BlackBerry Pearl 8100. I would check Crackberry.com and see if you can find that program for the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and 8110.

The track ball does not actually light up. There is a program you have to download to the phone in order for you to be able to set the track ball to the desired color. There is either one for free, which does not provide many options, or you can get one that costs $4.99 and it alternates the color of the track ball, much like a screensaver on a computer.

What do you think of the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 AT&T Customers?

Customers who have AT&T, what do you think of the newest update of the BlackBerry Pearl? My Nokia phone died a month or two ago and I have been without a phone since. I am considering purchasing this phone and am wondering what you all think of it. I would appreciate any positive and negative feedback with this phone.

I have a Nokia 6085 and the person at the AT&T store told me that a 2 gb card was all my phone could take. If I put in a larger one, like the 4 gb, it would not read it. The same will hold true for the Nokia E62. If you put in a larger amount MicroSD card, the phone will not read it.

I'm glad to hear you have had good luck with Sprint so far. As I stated in a reply to another post, I have read almost nothing but negative things about Sprint in the areas the people were living in. I have looked at the coverage maps and every carrier: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Sprint have great coverage in my area. It looks like I would get coverage in the mountain area where my family ...

Finally! Someone has said something positive about them. I have AT&T right now and am considering Sprint as my provider later on. The plans are within my price range and what they come with is pretty good. :) I have a question. I have a family member who lives in the mountains and with Verizon, she never got a signal. Does Sprint have a signal in the area where she lives?

Is This The Service Or The Phone?

I have a friend who shares a Sprint plan with her mother. She and her mom both have much older phones and the service will go in and out on them. I have a friend who has this phone and she really likes it. I also like it, not just because it's a smartphone, but it's a lot smaller than the other smart phones out there. I am wondering if this phone will ever come to AT&T. I would love to see a GSM version of this device.

I own the Nokia 6085, AT&T Wireless's version of this device. There is a MicroSD card slot on the Nokia 6085 and it's in the same spot as the Nokia 6086 for T-Mobile. You can download wallpapers and music through AT&T's web site OR you can hook your phone up to your computer with a data cable and use the Nokia PC Suite application to transfer files to and from your phone.
