Thanks for the reply. I was told the same thing by the guy I made the purchase with. I have tried turning the volume down, and it does seem to alleviate some of the echo, but then it is very difficult to hear the person on the other end - especially if I am in my car driving. Thanks again for your help and feedback!

Have you heard of any incompatibility with the LG AX490 and Motorola HS850 Bluetooth headset? I am experiencing a big problem with person on the other end receiving an annoying echo. thanks, duke

The main reason I purchased this phone was to use the bluetooth. I have tried 2 headsets, and each of them results in the person on the other end hearing an annoying echo of themselves. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I was told that I may have had the volume up too high. I tried turning the volume down, this did cut down on the echo, but then I could barely hear the person.
