Hi Sarah, I work for T-Mobile, actually I'm quitting on Monday, but that is to pursue a different career. I have worked for T-Mobile as a retail sales rep for 2 years and I think it is a great place to work. The benefits are awesome(make sure you take advantage of the 401k matching), the atmosphere is excellent, and the quotas are very reasonable. The commission used to be higher, but it is still good. I live in Tucson and ...

Bring some information comparing your offer to competitors. Make the business person feel like they have already shopped around just by talking to you. It will make them feel more comfortable abuot making a decision.

You do have a 14 day trial period, but I don't know how long you will be gone. The cool thing is that for an additional $20/month you can have unlimited email overseas. NO CHARGE PER KILOBYTE! You can add and remove this feature as much as you want without effecting the contract date. The PEARL is also a BlackBerry. I actually like the size of it and i like the buttons better. the buttons on the 8700g are so ...

My Friend, I have a verizon phone and a blackberry through T-Mobile. the data rates for T-Mo are awesome, especially if you are going to be traveling overseas. The service itself is great! I can't wait to move my phone number over to my blackberry (I currently have voice on the BB, but it is another #). The voice part works great as well. I have used the BB7105t, 8700g, and 8100 Pearl. I loved all of them, but the ...

Even if Sprint could roam on Verizon towers, they don't let them roam on everyone of them so it's not like you get theirs plus Sprint's. The coverage areas are pretty much the same--everybody has it's out-of-coverage areas, they may just not be the same ones. How do we know Sprint sucks? THE CUSTOMERS TELL US! They are leaving Sprint, as illustrated by the layoffs. Give it 10 years. The major players will be (in no particular order): 1. ...

I have a consumer account with Verizon that I want to cancel as soon as possible. I saw a website called "The Consumerist" that gives advice on how to cancel without an early termination fee due to the increase in txt msging charges. I called to try to cancel the other day and they told me they couldn't do it until the March 1st change date. That seems to run contrary to the paperwork, but the supervisor said she ...

I'm not quite sure what you mean by need a mortgage. Do you mean when I have a mortgage payment? Are you saying that I can miss a rent paymet but not a mortgage payment? FYI--I do have a mortgage payment. Actually I have a car payment and 2 children with a 3rd one on the way and we are doing just fine. Just thought you'd want to know.

This lady didn't deserve my help! She wanted to upgrade her phone, but wasn't qualified quite yet. Her phone probably had a manufacurer's defect but, to be honest, I wanted her to suffer. Normally I would go the extra mile to help a customer regardless of their attitude, but this lady pressed my only button. And what is that button? I work for T-Mobile so I don't know any real information, but I did read an article about a lawsuit filed against Cingular by AT&T customers claiming the things that you wrote about. The article also mentioned that Cingular was deactivating AT&T towers so those who were still on AT&T service were experiencing more dropped calls and a smaller service area.

You must work for Cingular in Arizona. We get lots of complaints about dropped calls from Cingular customers. Especially after their most recent string of commercials! Although I have to admit, I think some people aren't really dropping calls--they're just idiots don't know how to use the phone!

Interesting. Do you get a special plan from Verizon? You know, I have a verizon phone for another job and my T-Mo blackberry and I have been surprised by how similar the service area is for both of them. Verizon still does have a step up on the competition, but I bet 9 out of 10 customers will never see a difference in coverage area.

The BlackBerry 8100 Pearl has come out. It is $250 with a $50 mail-in rebate on a 2 year contract if you are fully eligible and $50 more for a 1 year. T-Mobile will unlock it for free as long as they haven't unlocked a phone for you in the last 90 days, otherwise you will have to wait 90 days. Do you work for T-Mobile?

I have been playing with the new Blackberry 8100 Pearl for T-Mobile and it is awesome. If you can get it unlocked that would be a great choice. You have all the great blackberry features like internet, email, PDA, but the new one has the following features that make it great for customers who don't even care about email: MP3 player Media player that plays videos/movies Micro SD removable memory 1.3 MP camera Smaller and thinner than the SLVR Speaker independent voice dialing EDGE and intel ...
