Not sure how to ask this question. of if it applies. but in europe, you can have several phones and just slip your simcard into the thing when you want to use a particular phone. this type of thing is what i have wanted for a while. more than one phone, but one account. just use one phone at a time, by transferring card. will something like this be available due to this change?

i went in to the store on monday 23rd when it was supposed to be in. no show. so i ordered next day delivered. i got it. i like it a bunch. solid, good sound quality. does what i need and is the best made phone i have ever owned (at least so far) and i've owned the top line motorola units back when motorola was the only manufacturer and most phones came in a 3 watt shoulder pack ...

got mine tuesday. quite pleased. moreso than i thought i would be. size bothers me less than i thought. i would have liked black instead of grey. i have owned cell phones since they were available day one. this is probably the best built one i have owned. since it is not the ultimate in bling, the price seems a little high. but nothing like it exists at this time.

im curious. i have a drawer full of watches. some expensive, some outdoorsy, some blink some not.. so say you had a drawer full of phones, different ones. you're going out one night.. so you ESN your 'dress' phone. next day you go hiking.. so you ESN your gzone phone.. then you have a tiny something or other and just want to carry the smallest phone you have in your drawer.. so you ESN.. back and forth etc... can you essentially ...

you can pick it up in a store on monday. if you buy on friday, even with expedited shipping, it wont arrive till monday, right?

have nextel, a standard verizon phone and verizon evdo/1xrtt laptop connection all of which work great in aspen and snowmass.

hum... the UI for me is the number pad mostly, the digits that i input the number into.. and of course the send button.. now i know this is a little sarcastic, but heck, its a phone. now i also carry a laptop most places in my car hooked up whilst i drive. and THAT UI is important. win2k3 server. not the be-all/end-all but it works and thats the UI i WORK with, play movies, music, log onto varius things ...

dunno about the nextel thing.. have nextel. i build houses. i have to have nextel for subs and such. i also have a verizon for my computer biz and the coverage. nextel walkie-talkie with groups and such is someting no one else has access too. if it wasn't for that i would drop my nextel in a heartbeat becaue their coverage sucks.

i've been wanting a milspec phone since cellphones first were available as breiefcase units that were 3 watts and you carried the thing in a shoulder bag. so for folks like me the answer is yes. these seems to be less of a gee-gaws phone, for instance doesn't bave bluteeth.. so it may appeal less to the chocolate gobbling crowd.. hard to say... supposedly very popular with the japanese.. my question as a owner of a tri-mode lg vx3200 which is ...

phone was anounced 6 months ago as a future verizon phone. it has been available, in japan in think for a while and is popular there. rumor was it would take 6 to 9 months to bring it to market . so we're right on the cusp of it being available... just a guess but i suspect it will have less g-whiz stuff than some phones. i need a waterproof phone. expect this to be a big seller in certain ...

gzone is water proof. was demo at some show. it was in a fish tank with fish swiming around it it it was obviously on. the rumor i heard was it would take 6 to 9 months to certify the phone. its been almost 6 months. i've been hoping that some insiders at verizon would at least hint at a rough timeline. i need a water proof phone. sometimes out get caught out in the woods and it poors down rain. ...

this phone was announced in march. so its been about six months. any verizon people here have an idea when it will be released? i plan to swap my old lg phone for this unit when it comes available.
