Re: Captains Log
I would not.... 8O
This would be GREAT...
...if it worked. I installed this...as did three other people in my store...and the gesture control doesn't seem to work, even with the setting on easy. I got it once quite by accident and haven't been able to since.... Anyone else seeing this?
Re: WRONG
I see the edited line that says it launches on the 24th. That should be in the title. Please excuse MY error!
WRONG
This information is WRONG. The HD2 does NOT launch until the 24th.
Re: You're a morning person?
Psh, I wish. I wake up too early and I sneeze like crazy--I'm allergic to getting up early....
Re: Say bye bye to job security
OR you could look at it this way:
Customers now know when they're going to exceed their minutes. As a result, they call Care to change their plan to a higher option to avoid overage charges. Happy customer! Happy customer then calls a couple months later to lower back to the original plan. Customer still happy! Happy customer tells friends about how happy they are with how well USC takes care of them. Happy ...

I have no idea what these guys are doing. Sprint's footprint is no better than their own. They should have targeted Alltel as I suggested previously.

Long before the private equity firm purchased Alltel and then held it for Verizon, T-Mobile could have gotten them. Add to this the fact that the FCC is now controlled by the Democrats and I don't know if this merger would even be allowed.
Thanks...I needed a good laugh!
Re: This was bound to happen.
Bingo.
Re: This was bound to happen.
Yeah...and you pay full price for the phone. FlexPay still allows you to sign a contract. Do the AT&T and VZW versions allow you to prepay for everything and never have a bill loaded down with overages?
Re: LOL WOW THIS IS FUNNY
Perhaps you haven't noticed, but the two technologies (GSM/CDMA) are slowly merging to be the same technology. Might not be as big of a transistion as some might think. You also see many phones now with dual radios, mainly CDMA carriers adding GSM for worldwide use.

Re: Sigh....
Just because YOU don't like it.... W/E
Have you seen the other phones T-Mo has released recently or are upcoming launches? Or do you just selectively pick and choose the phones you see them release? The Highlight, Behold, Dash 3G, MyTouch 3G, Touch Pro 2, etc, etc, are all great choices by T-Mo and keep their selection more tuned to what people want (they used to not do that...only carried cheaper handsets with an occassional smart phone).
Uh...
"... new type of surface plasmon enhanced OLED by using heat to deposit silver nano-particals on a cathode in a vacuum. The result is a 1.75 increase in photoluminescence..."
Good thing it's in layman's terms or I'd be in SERIOUS trouble!
Re: I already said this
That won't work. When you move your SIM back to your Smart device and try to access the internet, you'll get a screen telling you that you don't have the right data plan and will prompt you to select the right one.
As for the original poster: Wow! Do you want a cookie?! Maybe a gold star?!
Re: Alltel
That's why there's only FOUR payments. One of which is made up front. Less time for the customer to 'forget' they bought whatever they bought.
Re: LOL they just announce this now
If you paid an upgrade fee, you got robbed. T-Mobile Corporate stopped doing those back in December. :o
Re: They should have
...and wait periods that make you forget you ever mailed it...?
Re: Typical
This was Bush you say? Well, seems to me that Obama's been in office for several days now...and it's the Democrats that run the Senate...and the Senate is the one that approved it...and Obama will have to sign the new law with the new date...so.... I really don't think you have a valid agrument.
Re: They should have
The "reason" behind the delay is not the availability of converter boxes...it's availability of funds to cover the subsidizing of the boxes. Lame excuse. 8O People are used to waiting months to get rebates anyway.
Typical
This is a very typical move on our government's part. Make comittment. Break it. Set new one. Repeat cycle as needed.
Re: And here it is
Your comment doesn't make any sense...
Re: US Cellular is going to make out like a bandit
Should be interesting to see what they do with this opportunity.
Re: GOOD BYE JARED
Great minds, eh...? I agree! :o
No more commercials!!!
The best part about this is no more of those annoying childish commericals! :D Of course we still get "Can you hear me now....? Good!" but we'll take what we can get....
Confirmed
Contrary to Phonescoop's posting, this phone has been confirmed by T-Mo...at least internally. It will launch later this month and be available in three different colors.
Re: Sprint isn't good enough for Android!
Couldn't've said it better meself! It's like my manager said...beggars can't be choosers and Sprint sure shouldn't be choosing!
As for what 'reviewers' say...you can find a review that will 'say' whatever you want it to. You shouldn't pass judgement on the phone until you've played with it. It's an AWESOME phone with LOTS of potential...so much it might never actually reach it! The BIGGEST plus with this phone is the OPEN SOURCE/MARKET! This opens ...
Re: All Corporate Locations to Close At 5PM Today
What changed?
Re: I called this back in feb!
I'm glad you said it so I didn't have to...
Re: They had it coming for a long time
All Verizon needs to do is sit back and watch Sprint tank. Don't expect them to make a move unless they're forced to. I have no sympathy for Sprint. They've been broken for a long time with a no 'quick-fix' solution and buying Nextel only put more holes in their canoe floating down River de Crap. Deutsche Telekom could buy Sprint just to let it go under and be less pressure for T-Mo. As ...
Re: Rednecks.
Good point. Goood point.... Where's my Spanish dictionary...?
Re: Rednecks.
You normally can't get service without proper identification. If they don't have it, they get it. Usually by identity theft. See it all the time.
Re: Rednecks.
Helping them would be teaching them English. We're not helping them. We're accomodating them. If this were Mexico, English wouldn't fly. You just don't get helped. Most don't even make the effort to learn.
Re: This is going to sound really stupid... But....
I also used to work for USC and if you get a good rep (like that last one) they'll go the extra mile for you and go to your house. If they won't, you can sign up for one line, take it home, try it out. If it doesn't work, just take it back within the return period. USC usually has pretty good coverage where they offer it, so chances are you'll be fine! :D
Re: US Cellular is LAME
...and you get the WORST customer service out there from a company that is bleeding customers from the hip. Bravo!
Re: QUESTION ABOUT US CELLULAR DEPOSITS
Usually if you pay cash or credt--yes, for sure. If you pay check...not sure. Just ask your rep (make sure you go to a USCC OWNED store, not an independant) and they will tell you. :)

I'm sure this is a stupid question but what exactly is the point of this?
What's the point? Seriously? Have you ever had poor coverage at home? This eliminates that. You ever wanted unlimited calling at home? This provides that. You ever wanted one phone number and one phone and one voicemail and one phone bill...etc, etc? This gives you all that. This is an awesome idea and a good move ...
Re: How does 9-1-1 work on the wi-fi part?
The user will have to register a 911 address with T-Mobile via My.T-Mobile.com or Customer Care.
Re: dumb
Lots more. This service is gonna knock the pants of other services, especially when combined with their MyFaves offering.
Re: USC SUX
I worked for USC for over three years. It was the best job I have ever had. The benefits were awesome, the perks ruled, and the people were great, for the most part. The ONLY reason that I'm not with USC anymore is because I moved where they, sadly, have no presence. If they ever do come out here, I'll be the first in line to take advantage of employment with them, barring the company ...
Re: USCC in five Years
I worked for USC about two years ago for three years. This company is so focused on the customer and growth that I don't see any reason for them not to be around in five years. As long as some bone-head doesn't get in the top office, USC will be fine. They continue to offer excellent plans and features. Their network is one of the best I've had the honor of being on. I ...
