Playing the downloaded music

I'm new to all this hi tech stuff and while I was able to follow the download directions easily (Thanks)- I can't get the music to play. I put it in the media folder and see it when I access through media but the generic Fusic screen comes on and kicks me out. I have gotten the music to play on my computer via USB and the Media windows so I don't think it's the format. HELP ...
