I have to agree that the rep handled your questions very well. I will also say in my area that there is close to no sprint coverage and every store they had in the area has closed down. Why would you even want to post this in the at&t forum?? Sounds like you need to find something to do in your spare time.

I would not do it. I am with at&t but had a customer get phones through them and everything went fine until the phones started messing up. When we called warranty they said the phones were refurbished and could not be replaced.

That is the release on what I was referring to. When I saw the map showing the changes it is amazing. For the most part Alabam will be covered.

True that there is not alot of 3g in Alabama but the 2g that we run on where I am located is not very different than Verizons 3g. My co-worker has Verizon with a 3g phone I have at&t 3g phone in 2g area and I can do everything he can just might have to buffer a few more seconds than his.

They have started now but all we were told is it will be completed this year. I do believe Talladega was on there to be updated.

Just to let yall know, I had a meeting with at&t this past month and most of Alabama will be going 3g this year. Everything is already approved and being worked on. There are still a few places that will not be changing but they are very small areas.

Thanks for the info. I actually work for a at&t retailer so I have tried the battery pull thing with no luck. I havent called in yet because I am one of those people who try to fix things myself and probably end up making it worse. Is it ok to restore to the last point before I did the update?? Will I lose any info? Other than this I love the phone. Won ...

I have a 9700 on at&t and cannot get the gps to work. When I try to add navigator it says "product requires a gps receiver, please purchase a gps receiver." It worked fine before and the only thing I have done to the phone was update the system. Anybody know how to get this fixed??

I have the bb8900 my brother has an iphone and I never have problems where he constantly does so seems to me like it is not the network. :)

With the company I work for the customer signs a 180 day agreement meaning if they cancel within 6 months we can charge them up to $250 for the device. If they cancel after 30 days we will not take the equipment back and they pay the fee.

How did yall rack up so many points. I work at an at&t dealer and probably only earned a total of 80,000 points. We were told really late in the game but we still don't sell that many Samsungs. :?

I work for a dealer of at&t and we can change what is seen when a caller calls a home number. We can make it say "wireless name" in store or tech can change it to someone else name.

MMS will work on pda devices with a ppu on the account but it will not work on a blackberry. At least I do not know how to make it work on a blackberry.

I have at&t and my co worker has verizon. If I send him something via bluetooth to his dare he can listen to it but it saves to his sound file and he cannot use it as a ringtone. Why??
