Galaxy S2 wont sync with incar bluetooth system.
I have a '09 VW Jetta and my GS2 won't work with the bluetooth system in the car, I've tried different trick and tips picked up online through various sites to no avail. Just got the vibrant on Saturday, upgraded it to 2.2 and it been great so far, the 4G speeds are cool and the FFC as well but it doesn't have the 16GB memory built in. It comes with a high capacity memory card but I like that I can expand my storage on the vibrant 3G by another 32GB if I wanted to.
What's with the battery life on the MT3G?
My GF just got this phone and with light usage the battery drains down quick. Even when the phone is in stand by mode, I downloaded the app killer form the market and changed some other settings and she still needs to charge the phone twice a day, I know it runs a lot of apps and stuff and I've adjusted the settings and still....... anyone know of any other apps I can downloaded to help improve battery life?

I went into a T-Mo store today and the rep told me there's a problem with 3G phones dropping calls and there's a fix in the works. I have a Sony Ericsson equinox and it hasn't been working due to the outage. She said it should be fixed in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Is your phone unlocked? depending on what country you're in and if there's a roaming agreement in place you should have picked up a signal. Try a hard reset maybe that will help.
Media question
Can anyone that currently has the Vibrant tell me if there's a FM radio in the phone? I read something somewhere saying the radio was taken out. I haven't been able to get a hold of a demo phone in any of the stores I've been to and have only seen the happy people getting their phones today :(

Samaung better make sure this phone is upgradeable past Android 2.2! It is going to be an awesome phone, as long as I can disable Touchwiz and just run the Android software.

I'm trying to decide between these 2 handsets,they're both 3G and don't require me to have a data plan permanently once I upgrade. I kind of like the equinox but hate the fact that it has proprietary jacks and will only use a memory stick and the Nokia has a 2.5 mm jack and only ships with a mono earpiece.
I want a phone that I can listen to music with and access Google maps. I'd prefer a BB ...

These 2 phones are similar but the Pulse runs Android and the Tap doesn't. For the price point it would have been great to have a phone that comes in at a lower price than say the Eris but TMo in my opinion dropped the ball on this one buy not getting android on this phone.
If anyone has seen the video for the Pulse you'd probably agree.

Are Google apps being blocked on T-Mo phones? I'm looking at the Sony Ericsson T707 (Equinox) and I tried downloading Google maps to the phone and the download came back with an invalid app error. TMo crippled this phone's ability to run Google maps? I tried downloading this to a demo in a store and a message said "invalid application". Is this because downloads are not allowed on store demos or google maps has been blocked? Why offer a phone that's got GPS and you won't let it run an app that will use GPS? Not everyone wants to pay for navigation now WTH?

I bought an unlocked Samsung GT-S5230 (Tocco lite)http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_s5230-re view-335.php and I got TMO to enable my internet access. The problem is, I can't get google maps to work, I've tried troubleshooting it and still can't get it to work.
I'd really like to get a phone from Tmo as I qualify for an upgrade but want to wait till the behold 2 launches to see how much it'll cost to add data to the phone.

I was able to test one out at the local T-Mo store and I'm gonna pass on this phone; looks nice and all but its not living up to the hype for me. It is also app locked and that's a big deal breaker for me.

Samsung Behold is here
So I just spotted the Behold on T-Mo's website.
There's no WIFI (bummer) and it only has the T-mo web service for $5.99 listed as an internet add on. I'd think for a 3G phone you'd be able to get on the G1 internet plans instead. Is the a T-Mo ploy to keep sales of the G1 high or WTF :roll: ?
I was looking forward to getting the Behold instead of the G1 and is the Behold running Windows ...

Thanx m.hammer and grandhustle. I'm 11 days away from having the phone for a year, I already ordered a new trackball on Ebay and I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I would have settled for a refurbished phone as long as it doesn't reset my eligibility for an upgrade down the line.

Service centers! Why have to pay $110 for a new phone when I can get the part off Ebay for less than $20? The trackball on my Blackberry broke and Asurion wants to charge me $110 for a replacement.
I like T mo but their not having repair centers sucks! That's about the only thing I miss about Sprint.

Vision Vs. Power vision
I've had Sprint's vision since it launched and I'm quite satisfied.The thing is, all the current vision phones suck and I've been eyeing the Samsung A840 and the blade phone (currently use a Sanyo RL4920). The features on the Power vision are quite tempting but I don't want to have to pay extra for features that are currently grandfathered with my vision plan.

I've tried it numerous times and it's not working for me. Does it have to be a txt sent to a landline owned by one of the "Ma Bell" companies like AT&T, SBC etc or it won't work with these new 3rd party carriers? ( like it or not, ppl are switching to these telecoms, they're cheap!)
