i dont know if its related, but all the 8500's that ive seen go white screen still had that blue shipping sticker still attached on the inside slide part. I think it might just be binding that ribbon cable up inside and wiping out the screen.

ha a funny is that in my store they had to pull a piece of carpet up for something and replace it another patch of carpet and is very noticeable. when someone asks about it, i just say its the trap door for all the mean customers and i put my hand on the item/price scanner and give it a tug like thats the lever for the door :)
Verizons in on it too
VZ plans to have a wap-html conversion program in action in the near future as well. I do believe it will be more based on the network side so people wont have to update their phone software or get new phones to partake in the enjoyment of html.

thumb celluar is the cdma company in the entire thumb part of michigan, where VZ doesnt have any coverage, besides extended network.
It would be a nice buy for them, even though the only thing up there is amish, mechanics and trees. :lol:

I, too, am scared for at&t. No insurance on the iphone, what happens when someone dummy actually dumps it in water or smashes the screen? Im scared for the rep who has deal with that and the super mad custy. How will they handle buying the phone in the future? will there be a full retail option, or would they have to buy the phone again with another 2 year extension.

i would have just hung up half way through the call.. i hung up on someone yesterday when they were on hold for 2 minutes, i answered back and waited 5 seconds and they did not reply. they called back 10 seconds later screaming that someone hung up on them even though all they ended up with was the number for customer care. I hate when people call the store for CC issues.

vodaphone not cripple? HA why dont you do your research there buddy, GOOGLE it up: Vodaphone Live! (their UI/download/vcast wannabe) and how they cripple certain models so you cant use the built in VOIP feature because they wouldnt make $ off that.

ive seen a guy walking down the street talking.. well yelling to himself. also there is a park across the street from my store, every other couple days there is this guy that does kung fu crap by himself and starts fake air fighting like he has an opponent.. he'll even pretend he got taken down and "reverse" the moves.

i feel the same way, no camera is a con but thats why I have a 5MP digital camera. Heck my phone just a year ago didnt have a camera so i can do it again.. im seriously considering the BB 8803 for my NE2 next june.
