hahaha, nice, I was wondering when it was coming out tho too, just went through my 3rd Blackberry Pearl. Screen just randomly stopped working an hour ago on this one...it's about time for a change in phones, maybe one that will work.

logicaly yes, very possible....will USC do it...that i don't know, call a store, perferibly not an agent as it seems things get a little more fuzzy with them....call and see what they say tho.

this stinks for me now too....I finally found a store that had one...granted it was preowned and I was buying in the middle of a contract so that was more of a plus for me, so I drove a hour to get it. They found out when I got there it didn't have a batery cover but they would attempt to get one and send it to me...I said okay, well I woke up today and my friends ...

supposedly they get reverted back to their previous contract, I find it funny that USC changed their tune no more than our investigative department at the TV station I work for got wind of this story....USC quickly said everyone would get 5 dollar credits, new phones, and would not have to sign a new contract...

AOL claims to have it but they really don't, this has been a ongoing issue with AOL and USC, AOL blames it on USC but USC hasn't changed anything like AOL tries to say. If you search on the howardforums site theres several threads reguarding this issue...

Nice phone, works good for the most part, service has droped a little since I first got it but I've yet to have a phone that hasn't had that problem yet. Also the area of Iowa I live in doesn't help a lot either.

Signal is decent....I've had better experiences with cell phone insurance...It took them 2 and a half months to get me my replacement phone, and when they finaly got it to me, the button on the side of the phone was broke off of it, sent it back, and now it's been about a month again and still waiting for a replacement so it's obvious that their "efficient working" is true in some cases and false in others.

discontinued...? I don't think so, it's still on their site, saw signs up in stores, and we are still running their promo for it on our tv station....
Actualy Iwireless honestly isn't all that bad, after comparing cingulars tower setup it's nearly the same. Not taking their side here but if your one of those people that stays in big cities and takes the straight roads inbetween, you won't have a problem with their service at all.

Hopefully USC will reconsider how their doing nights and weekends, I wirelss is making a killing off their new promo in iowa right now, even tho they suck there are A LOT of people switching to them, their add states, nights and weekend minutes that start at 5pm and unlimited minutes that are always free that you don't have to pay 4.95 for.

If it's anything like what the new version of kodiak's ptt is, then it will be awesome, their new version of ptt is much more like a Instant Messenger type setup showing you on screen if someone is avaliable to talk to and if not you can leave a ptt voice message, just the thought makes you not want to hate ptt quite as much.

The hint I was givin is that it's no longer going to be what your phone can do, but what US Cellular can do for your phone. Doesn't really help all that much but it's something to think about.

I've heard from a reliable source that something big is coming out in may that will make people who switched from USC to another company to wish they never did. Not sure what it is as far as anything though. I'm doubting it's PTT since they said it's something no other carrier has or has ever done.

Once again, note that St. Louis was bought nearly a year ago and towers are virtualy all online so you can actualy pull service in St. Louis and not be charged roaming if your on the local plan.

Reread my post, I NEVER said USC had the 710 out before verizon, I stated they issued a PROBLEM FREE v710 before any other carrier...as verizon's 710 is still having problems....as for the koi...nope dude, I kept waiting to see it at usc and was told they had it at verizon, went there, didn't have it either...

One or two years....lets keep in mind we released a problem free v710 before any other carrier....yes verizon may of had it out 2 months sooner but whos phone actualy has bluetooth that works and a camera with no problems, also who was first to start seling the koi? thats right USC, by a few days sooner than verizon... maybe USC was behind in the past but recently they have been way ahead of the curve...

Best RF has many variables, one of the biggest happens to be location, some phones work better in location A and then some of the phones that are the worst in location A may be the best in Location B. Here in eastern Iowa the phone that gets the best RF over all has been the Kyocera Koi. Batery life is very good with this kyocera as well.

Yes the koi is a very nice phone as I have it but it does have many software flaws such as the lights only feature not working.

the koi is not the same old kyocera operating system like I've read many reviews thinking it would be, it's much better, LG is the ones that have a very boring OS, have seen some bugs in it to while looking at images it likes to cut parts of pictures and text off and occasionaly freeze the phone up. The koi would have much better image quality since it's a 1.2 mega pixel camera. I've seen the 7000 and it seems like a nice flip phone but the koi has many more features than it overall, the ability to answer a call when the phone is closed is just awesome and also when wearing a headset a voice asks do you want to answer the incoming call, yes or no and it answers it. Very pimp.
