Max KB in PIX message
What's the max KB one can send through either text, pix, or flix messaging?
My old phone was 300kb but dunno if it changed.

Read it's 4 GB. Wouldn't mind being able to get 8 GB on it though. What's the highest anyone has gotton it to work with?
And does it support miscroSDHC for 4, 6, and 8 GB?

Hm, sounds alot better than the a990's capacity.

I remember on the A990 the max number of text messages you could save that were SENT was 50. The inbox was about 30-50 also. Except in the case where you receive picture message, in which I went far above 100. I texted myself to see the limit but of course I had the unlimited Verizon In texting plan.
And even though I doubt anyone has texted that much with this phone, does anyone know the limit for texts? Both ...

and i found a neat trick to putting your own ringtones on your phone with ONLY your memory card and a computer.
1) format it
2) find a clip to use as a ringtone
3) put it in the 'my sounds' folder of your formatted memory card
3) show the extensions of known file types (i.e. mp3, wav)
4) change extension to .mid
5) ignore warning
6) it should work ...

All I did was drag and drop my files. So that part isn't hard.
Resizing pictures could be a problem depending on the resolution.
Songs, just have wma.
Converting takes a while but with the right software, it's pretty easy.
Transferring is a breeze.
Picture to Pix,
Movie clips to Flix,
etc.

i have gotton unsupported pix file messages too when trying to open a picture to view it. it should be displayed as a thumbnail question mark. i then did those steps to make it a supported file and it should be able to work in pix editor.
and the only way that i got these problems were from pics not taken ...

Had the same problem.
My solution:
1) Open picture
2) Copy picture
3) Open Microsoft Paint
4) Paste picture
5) Save picture
6) Put picture on phone
2GB Memory Card Compatibility
Anyone know if the 2GB memory card is fully supported for this phone?
There have been some reports a while back where once you format the card and read it on the computer, it reads it as only 996MB and that extra space is gone.

your battery life isn't up to 4 hours? did you charge it all the way up before using your phone?
if it isn't that great, get it replaced because i usually get 4 hours. less if i take pictures. but texting and other stuff does not cause much of a drain on battery life.

Yea you can but it's easier to play them in WMAs. Also I've heard they disabled the secret menu in an update, which is needed to get to the mp3 playing menu.
And it depends on what you mean by loading your own mp3 ringers. There is a way to make certain songs your ringtones provided you have a usb cable and bitpim. I might've provided a link on an old post. If not, ask again and I will provide.

Just read some forums to see the differences. Main one is better camera but no optical zoom. Also this one plays only WMAs in its default music player but through the secret menu, MP3s can be played. Those are the two most noticeable things to me.

And if so, you mean getting the Samsung A990 as another phone and doing something else with your old phone?

Well, the thing is, you may have gotton your's only recently, but I have had mine before it came out in stores. The two problems are that the LCD is not as bright and there is a different antenna. Personally, I don't mind the antenna because I get excellent reception with this phone. However, the LCD has been bugging me ever since I have had this phone.
And the thing is, they knew about this before the initial online release ...

It is more likely that this person already has Sprint and is looking to replace his or her phone. The T619 is for T-mobile and switching networks may not be a good solution for this person.
Also, the T619 lacks a microSD/Transflash card slot.
But the main reason would be that this person probably already has Sprint, which requires a contract, and switching right away would cost much more money than waiting a few days.
But this phone should be out tomorrow ...
Swapping Phones?
If you have an older version of the phone (less bright screen), can you go to a Verizon Wireless retailer and get it swapped free of charge?
And would you have to save all your information (contacts, pictures, sounds, ringtones, etc.) or would they transfer it over for you?

5. Select your number, find your Order Number and Location Code given to you on a sheet of paper along with the package

$520 + tax is around $545 (for me at least)
If you are not currently with Verizon and are going to sign a contract with them, go to their website and see the values for 1 year and 2 year.
If it's up to your NE2, then probably $100 off but I have never done it and are nowhere near mine to notice or care about it.

Turned out to be a really big photo. Looks clearer when you resize it with Window's Picture Viewer. By the way, this was outside on a cloudy day with some sunlight still shining. I'll take a picture in the bright sunlight on Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather. Well, hope it's helped

Yes, the speaker will work closed. You can even access the music with the shell closed. Just hold the play button for a second or two and press it again when prompted (which is right after the initial 1 or 2 seconds). Then, just navigate through using the FF and Rewind buttons to the song of your choice and press the play button once again.
