well based on your research you wouldn't have found much seeing how att has exclusive rights to the device for now and rogers has it but you dont even want to know how many times it got pushed back because of software issues...the free bold was only for a limited time. 8900 is 250 w/ 100 mail in rebate. I too know many people that have the device which they got unlocked from Canada and not many ...

must have not looked very hard...Orange based out of Europe pulled the bold twice, yes i said twice...likewise in Japan DoCoMo pulled it too...not to mention att is offering refurbs of the bold for free, hmm wonder why they have so many refurbs...but hey what do i know

it is merely a personal opinion on what is better...if you want a touch screen get the storm if not then the 8900..if you want 3g speed for browsing then get the storm, if you don't need that then the 8900 will be fine...if cost is in question on a monthly basis then i would lean towards the 8900, the data per month is cheaper, although the internet is not 3g, to combat the extra cost for the storm...i ...

quit crying celnut...they aren't going to drive away new customers...customers complain that they only get the same discounts the new customers get, so now we are rewarding them for not jumping ship to another carrier...and for those that are at the 21 month mark can wait 1 more month to be eligible...i doubt that many customers in the specific test market will be upset and it being a test market would eventually be nation wide probably after a couple ...

Actually you can teather the t819, tm506, and the 6263...they are not data phones but have the ability to teather 3g speeds.

the G1 does not have uma technology, therefore it is not able to make phone calls using wifi, hence it would be pointless to add the 9.99 feature...Another thing, the g1 does not yet have the ability to use the phone as a modem right out of the box, so you would be unable to thether it unless you did some home-brewing and hacked the device which has not been done yet.

yes after your second exchange, meaning your third phone they will offer another make and model, but just f.y.i. they are getting more strict on people doing this and if there is nothing wrong with your phone they can charge your account

it is very likely that you will find one in the wild with android...there are numerous phones that already have it on there...its nothing new, just a different operating system, you can find a wing or shadow and any other device running it
