I am a happy user of sprints WiMax. I used to have not so great service in my building. Then when sprint fired up 4g my 3g service got a huge boost. I am using my evo right now as my main ISP. I just did a speed test and this is my result.

So i answered the question in regards to my own service. I havnt ever had a problem with any other service that I have used with using too much data. Like I said go find some free WiFi.

Dude.. its a phone/personal computer.
If your not using any bluetooth devices then turn its function off. (pisst saves power)
If your not in a WiFi area.. turn off the function so that the phone dosnt use power searching.
If you know there isnt any 4g around then turn it off.. (again saves power)

i believe your mistaken.. the data connection is different than the voice when moving from 4g to 3g. Voice is a standard connection with the original 2g chipsets (and 3g). Though Data may interrupt for a moment when the two cells finish there handshake.. between 3g and 4.
oh and calls are dropped all the time (att noticeably) when your cell cant transfer to the new cell.. 2 3 or 4G

I like the design of this apple phone.. though im with verizon.. The biggest thing that is impressive with this phone is the "dual point" touch screen.. (touch the screen with your fingers together.. then spread them apart and this is a zoom feature for web pages) ...

I pay $15 a month for unlimited web and v-cast.. Its not right to advertise on a service that your paying for. Ads are for things like CNET vids, and this website has an ad right aside this column. I already noticed they stick "the more you know" spoofs at the end of some clips I watch. Now if im stuck with an ad ,worse if at the beginning of a clip, I'm paying for ads ...

I found that viewing a full html page on a cell window isnt all that great.. you have you use the diretional pad to "peer" around on the page.. its like only seeing a little square of the page.
This phone as well as other phones with Web access 2.0 do a more efficent job at browsing the web for a small screen.
Need information? Wickpidea, google, pictures, porn, you can get all of that at EV-DO speeds.
