Just so everyone knows, this is the Alias 2. Even has the same model number (SCH-U750) just black instead of grey.

T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon do not work in my area. Sprint and Alltel are all we've got.

Uh... I've got an actual S1 in my hands right now and I can tell you, it does have a Micro USB on the right side of the phone just above the headset jack. I can't really vouch for other Indirect agents, but I can tell you from my own experience with Sprint is that the service itself is great. The problems come in when you want to get support from Sprint themselves. Their call center support is a joke and they don't give their agents any of the tools they need to give their customers the support they're asking for. That's the problem for us, not getting support from the company asking ...

When the Sanyo site says "Sprint Stores" they're probably referring to direct channel retail locations. You know, actual Sprint stores. RadioShack and Indirect agents are considered a completely different retail channel. Which can sometimes be a double-edged sword.

Actually, it's not a RadioShack exclusive. I work for an Indirect Dealer and I myself ordered the phone yesterday for our stock. I'm expecting them in today from the nearby warehouse.

Do you have a URL for the software so I can check it out? When I Google it all I can find is a check-cashing system.

Alternative to TeleTracker/WorkWireless

I work for an independant agent that sells service for Sprint/Nextel and Alltel and we're trying to find software to track our activations and phone inventory, but not completely replace our POS. We've looked at a few commercial ones like TeleTracker, but they don't really work for what we want to do. So, if anyone knows of any software that is affordable, easy to use, and can track activations and inventory, please reply.

Like phonescoopjunkie and eric Lin both said. It is extremely important to clear off the data. Don't want personal information for your friends and family to get out. At our store, we give the SIM cards back to our iDEN customers and then do a Master Clear and Reset on the CDMA phones.

Actually, you don't need Vision. Sprint has a seperate package for Phone as Modem. Right now it's 39.99 a month for unlimited data usage. But to use your phone as a computer modem, which I assume your trying to do. you neeed the Phone as Modem package.

If only more people used electrolysis to power stuff. And to play the devil's advocate for just a second, I don't think that you actually pour water into the phone. It's probably more of a unit that you plug a battery into to charge. I used the equipment to ...
