You have to keep inserting it in and out and it should eventually read it. If not i would exchange it for another card. I have a 2gb and it works great.

Try going to settings, system, screen, align screen, and then ok.

Buy a digital camera screen protector kit. It comes with 2 screen protectors, a squeegee, and a cleaning cloth that is like satin.
