is that a plan from the AT&T Wireless days, or did that plan come from Cingular? I'm sure you can't grab that plan if you're signing up today, can you?

opera mini runs through Java on every device i've put it on. the mda doesn't have java, so that is why your device isn't recognizing the programs. i believe u can use opera mobile, but that version isn't free. its probably worth the $25 they ask for it, though

i'm new to cingular and just acquired this fairly expensive phone. i get it activated and they tell me that the phone is not insurable and that the company has just pulled the service technicians from the corporate stores. am i supposed to just eat the 500-or-so dollars if i crack the lcd or would you guys know any alternate methods of repair and/or insurance?

not sure if this has been addressed in previous posts, but is it possible to get opera mini on this device? if not, can u guys suggest an alternate broser?

opera mini should run fine on this device. this java app CAN run on a widows mobile ppc as long as java is included on the device. the cingular 8125 has java while the t-mobile MDA does not. that is why opera mini works great on my 8125 while it does not on my friend's MDA. the 8525 most likely has java since its predecessor did. so you should be able to use the free version for all ...

i currently own an 8125 and i live a market that doesn't offer hsdpa quite yet. if i upgraded to this device, would i at least be able to enjoy an increase in surfing speeds via wi-fi (since i can't use the hsdpa?)

i was looking for something different in a phone that had an mp3 player, removable memory and bluetooth. this little number looked about perfect for me. so i checked out the price a T-Mobile.com and it was between $125 - $175. i take a little time to think about that, and meanwile i go to this discount warehouse to get a 40-pack of toilet paper, and i see this same fone for more than $100 less! i don't ...

5 megapixel autofocus camera w/ Zeiss lens? Wouldn't that CAMERA alone cost $300 a year ago? i'm scared of nokia. i'm not scared of the price, b/c high tech costs high $$. i'm scared b/c the phone industry is developing devices that seem to belong in a some futuristic anime or something... :paranoid:

So... if t-mo wins all these licenses in the end, how long do u guys think it would take to see substantial improvements in their coverage? As a T-mo/sprintnextel/cingy retalier i feel that t-mobile has most of the customer's desires covered (with the exception of reliable coverage.) A boost in that one weak category could bring them a large number of contracts.

Does anyone else see this phone bringing potential A900 and/or Fusic buyers to Cingular instead of Sprint? It seems to have most of the best features of both (minus the fm transmitter) and adds HSDPA to the mix! Also, does anyone have a possible price point on this one? Thx in advance. Me.
