A2DP capable phones.

It's been a while since I've been in the industry so I don't really know what's out there anymore. What phones does Verizon offer that support A2DP (stereo) bluetooth profile? I have the Juke now and I am really starting to hate this phone.

I hate people like that. I had a phone call like that. M- (halfway through the opening schpiel) C- (interupting) HELLO? M- Yes? C- Do you have PCS? M- I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean (PCS is a generic term for cell phones if you don't know) C- Do you have PCS? heard ya the first time, still don't know wtf you want) M- I'm sorry, what do you mean by PCS? C- PCS! MetroPCS! M- Sir, we are a Verizon dealer. C- So do you ...

I know you've got a laundry list of improvements to make to the sight but I'd like to offer a suggestion that (as far as I've seen) hasn't been done yet. On the list of recent posts from a specific user (or just when viewing your own posts) add a little box (right justified) under that post with the following reply (assuming there is one) or maybe even a counter that tells you how many replies to that message there ...

Monday! My current company has made every effort to screw me over as often as possible, so I have little remorse for only giving a 4 day notice.

VZW and AT&T are steadily gaining customers every quarter... they gotta be coming from somewhere.

This deserved a new thread? Besides that, what he said is essentially true. Any wireless provider cannot preform well without the assistance and roaming agreements of other providers.

Look at it like this, worst case scenario: You lose 1 customer. It's worth a shot.

You might be right, I've "left" the wireless industry 3 times now and kept getting sucked back in. It's like a bad rash, as soon as you thinks it gone... BAM, herpes. :paranoid:

Yes! It is! I'm outta the wireless industry!!! 7 longs years... and I'm finally done (I'm getting a weird deja vu feeling on this one) with the wireless industry! I got hired at a loan institution as assistant manager so BYE BYE cell phones. And, of course, thank you all for your entertaining stories to help pass the time away (especially Nikoletta). :D :D :D and... :P

Did you read the story? It's money Sprint OWES to Verizon. Verizon's just filing suit on them before they slip past the statute of limitations and not have to pay.

Phone finder suggestion
Apr 8, 2008, 9:15 AM
in the phonescoop.com forum

It would be helpful (maybe not for all but some) so offer bluetooth profiles in the weighted section of the phone finder. For example, I'm trying to find all VZW phones that offer A2DP, but I can't filter it that way so I have to go through each bluetooth capable phones (which is ALOT) and check them individually.

90% of the time that means they don't know. I work for Verizon and I haven't the foggiest idea. Half the time we don't know something's coming until it's here.

When I get somebody who says they just talked to HQ I ask who they spoke with. C- "I just spoke with your headquarters and they said... (insert rediculous claim here)" M- "Oh yeah? WHo did you speak with, was is James Bronson? (or whatever random name pops up in my head)" C- "Yeah, that was the guy" M- "Oh, because nobody by that name works here"

If it's a constant thing, yes, definately. I've taken a nap on company time before and permitted my co-worker the same amenity. However, that's a once every 6 months kind of thing and neither of us are the stay out late and complain all day type.

If your company could be easily hacked by just discovering the IP address you need a new IT guy. Theoretically, it's possible for a sight to get hacked and your IP obtained, but there are easier ways to get IPs than that. And many hackers use IP sniffers which randomly choose IPs. I'd say it's smoke, or he really needs to go back to school.

I have a personal policy when it comes to that. If you're on the phone in my store I can't see you. I will not even acknowledge the person has entered my store until they get off the phone and I will happily skim past them to help the person behind them not talking on their phone. It's rude and disrespectful, if I ever have a need to be on the phone while in the store I won't approach the register ...

Could be worse. My company have no problem making it known that if you don't have a certain last name you'll never advance. Which is evident by the saleman who's been here 11 years and doesn't have anything more than the employee that started last week (other than vacation days).

I've lost my cool a few times. Generally I'll only do it in a situation where I know it won't blow back in my face. The most recent one was a customer wanted a 1 GB micro-sd card. I was out of stock. His response was "Well what the **** good are you then?!" as he got in my face. I said to him "Everything except what the **** you want, now get out of my store." Probably not the brightest thing ...

Having dealt with many rude customers over the years I generally just bite my tongue and don't say anything. At the end of the transaction I handed her the bag without saying a word and she, loudly, says "What, you can't even tell me to have a nice day? You're F'in ...

One day I went to Wendy's for lunch and got a triple. I was eating the burger and a steady stream of grease dripped out the side of the wrapper and by the time I noticed I had a good series of grease blotches all around the crotch of the pants and they were light color khakis. I extended my lunch and ran to the nearest department store.

I completely.... disagree. I hate cellular manager. There's too many damn screens to go through. At my last store we had a POS the IT guy actually made himself. It's was a little buggy (random error messages that didn't mean anything or even affect anything) but it was by far better than this pile.
