I set my Decoy to vibrate alarm and can't say that it's particularly strong, even if you're holding it in your hand. Maybe on the right surface, like a hollow metal table it might be loud but otherwise... /;|

Hi. I don't have an iPhone, but a Verizon Decoy, but with Verizon say you want to automate your voice-mail call you enter *86PP(PIN #). The 2 Ps are 2 second pauses. Surprisingly enough, Verizon included the instructions on how to do this in their little book of really tiny type. With my previous phone I think I learned it reading here. I'm sorry if this isn't helpful for your iPhone, tho.

Just out of curiousity, why do you like Moto's UI as opposed to Verizons? I've only had experience with Cellular One's(?) UI and I've found Verizon's required UI easier to navigate. Just asking.
Re: Battery Charge Indicator - Is there one??
I'm not at a point of adding mpg3 files to my phone so I just use those buttons to light up the outer screen and I can see the "charge complete" or whatever, there, with an exit button to return to normal status.
Pairing the vx-8300 and Dell x30h PDA
I just did this the other day to see if I could and they paired just fine. Now that I have, what next? I can send contact info from the PDA to the phone. Is that about it for pairing these devices?

I haven't read the manual closely for this phone, but this is good information to have. And, even tho the front screens quality isn't that great normally, it becomes just like the inside screen for taking pictures. Thanks for the tip!

I went to the VZ store on 6/13, the release day of the 8300, bought it, and the tech went right into the back room and transfered all of my contacts right then.
