Run google maps and locate yourself using gps. once you have located yourself, exit google maps and run live search, it will work. worked for me.

Install Modem Drivers from original CD 4. Turn off BJ 5. Run Installer File 6. While phone is off, plug into computer via USB 7. Turn on phone using reflashing mode (hold down right soft key, camera side key and then hold down power button) 8. Installer file will detect phone and hit start. have fun

whenever i send my wife who is also a tmobile customer, a picture message (each message is around 45kb) she gets them and says that they're 8kb and the quality of the pic has been reduced dramatically, does anyone know why this happens???

does anyone know how to enable this? i think i read somewhere saying that if you transfer the file from your phone to your computer and then do something to it, then transfer it back to your phone, it is enabled, but i can't remember the details, does anybody know anything?!?

first of all i was selling my wife's phone. she switched carriers second of all. i have nothing to prove to you guys. i was simply asking a question. i dont need to spill my personal life to anyone. and I am going to N. Korea, wait 8 weeks and u'll read it on the paper or watch the news stories.

im in the military and i am being reassigned to n. korea. i tried canceling service today and they said i would still be charged ETF even if i had documents stating that i was going there. this is bullcrap!

no its not cingular branded. no cingular logos anywhere not even on the box. its great. plus, its weird cuz the charger is european but it has an american adapter. lol

its nice. i thought it wasn't supposed to be out yet? anyways. its pretty nice. it comes with only 256mb transflash vs. SLVR and ROKR's 512mb. But i have an extra one anyways. 1.3 mp cam is good, video is normal. nice design. external screen is not bigger like some people might think.

the phone is refurbed, but the battery shouldn't be. there's nothing wrong with my phone. and if i have to warranty exchanges on them, sooner or later they'll just give me a brand new kit. this is my 3rd refurbed phone and they others worked like charms.

i upgraded my phone online and got a refurbed slvr. i got it on friday. but the battery is not working properly. i know its the battery cuz my friend has a slvr too and i tried his battery and it worked fine. mine doesnt hold charge. nor does it charge.

will cingular give me a free battery?

for a slvr. do u think if i went into a corp. store they can give me one for free? i recently got a refurb phone from cingular.com and i dont feel like returning the whole thing just for a battery... any input would be great.

i know the fix for that. all u gotta do is call up cust. service and tell them that u want your user ID reset. and then just re-register online. that'll fix it. it did the same thing for me. actually if u go to forums.cingular.com and go on the data tech support chat. they'll do it even faster.

it probably wont last forever. and if i tell you the loophole then everyone and their mother will do it. so. just like when we used to challenge media net charges, unlimited. people caught on and so it was fixed. so shh... don't be a hater. lol
