I have had this phone since the day it came out. I can't find any faults with it all except one and that one has made me decide to return it.

Giant size? It's narrower and lighter then iphone. Granted it's slightly thicker but that's because it has a keyboard that actually works.

Yes. The problem is there are no packages that also include messaging or navigator or any other options VZ cast or any other options you may want. It also doesn't support TV if that ever comes to your area. So those are the trade offs you face.

No. What do you mean by "zoomed in" and what size pics are you using? They need to be 240x400 to be full screen.

I had the 8130 for a few days and only returned it because I didn't want to pay for the data plan. The 8130 and the 8330 are both fantastic phones. The screens are unbelievable as they adjust to the light in the sun are still easy to read. Again. if you could buy a BB without a data plan that is all I would ever own.

Mine is the best I have ever had on any phone. Some are having problems. As with all new phones I guess some are good and some aren't.

That's why they come with a 1 year warranty and the ability to buy insurance. Break it and walk into any store and get a replacement.

Take the phone back (when they have more) and get it replaced. It shouldn't be making any noise. Mine doesn't.

The silicon case has no screen protector in case that's what you are looking for. It's just a piece of rubber that covers the phone and the keyboard. VZ does have screen protectors which is what I bought instead.

I find this annoying too but can;t think of any othere way they could do it. Or with and phone that has a touch screen. If you have it off then you are likely to hit a button you don't want to hit when putting it in your pocket or holster. With it on it seems you are constantly unlocking the phone. I think if they had a variable time option you could set for when it lockeded it ...

Is it just me or did it get 10x faster today?
Navigation question
I'm new to using navigation and find it annoying that if you are using it and get an incoming call it closes down and you have to restart it again. Is there any way to answer a call and not have this happen? It sort of defeats the purpose of ever using navigation with a mobile phone.

I tried the holster and returned it. It seem to stick out about two inches from your side and I thought it would constantly get hit by something or pulled off by a coat. Probably the kickstand is the cause of this.

This sounds really stupid, I know, but I find in I turn the phone partially sideways and approach the scroll bar that way it works fine. If I try to scroll while holding it vertical I end up, like others, selecting something instead.
Screen Protectors?
Anubody manage to find any for this phone yet? The local VZ store thought they had some but alas, no luck.

I'm sure you love to make this up as you go. VZ probably has more then 15,000 outlets when you take into account all the third party resellers. Would you really have us believe that only some of them will have 1 phone on the 21st?

I just ordered one through my corporate plan and was tole it will definitely launch on the 18th, not the 11th and they will be able to ship them sometime prior to that. When, they weren't sure.

Monday is possible, I suppose. If it's like the pearl was then it should be no more then a week from today. The pearl was shipping from online orders within a few days after it was abailble on pre-order.

Obviously he knows nothing. The 11th is a Sunday and VZ never releases anything on a Sunday.

Yes, it is the same price as the iphone. That seems to be the intent. A lot of people think it's better then the iphone because of the real keyboard, removable battery and removable memory. Not to mention the Verizon network.

Online will still be shipping them before the stores even see them. Just as what happened with the pearl in the past week. People have had them for days and they only went on sale in the stores today.
