1. When I recharge my phone, the front screen is brightly lit for about 10 seconds or so, and then dims down, but still stays lit. So I would say that what you are experiencing is normal, unless your phone stays brightly lit the whole time.

How much memory does this phone have?
I've googled the net, forums, various cell phone websites (like this one and mobiledia.com), gone through the LG usa site, and have never been able to find a concrete answer for how much memory this phone has. Anyone ever find this spec? Would be nice to know now that I have BitPim up and running and can add pics & ringtones easily.

Sorry, I wish I did. :? The amount of available memory on the 4650 seems to be somewhat of a mystery, I've never run across the figure on the web even after looking for it.
I'm waiting on a USB cable that I bought off eBay to arrive so I can start using BitPim. If I find a way to find out using BitPim, I'll let you know.

How did you get it on your phone? Is it a recorded voice memo or did you use software (i.e. datapilot or bitpim) in conjunction with a USB cable? I don't think 150 kb is that big, you could probably just leave it on there.

I have the same question. I know where the status light on the phone is, but what is its purpose? When it flashes, what does that mean exactly?
