The new desktop interface upgrades and form factor are two huge pros in the 750 column, as are the new IM style sms/mms folders. On the other hand it is infinatly easier to compose email on the 8525 . The screen resolution and size are also huge winners for the 8525 camp. Of course there were products at CES for other carriers scottmbolt. Let the dust settle, it did just happen after all. Cut the phonescoop guys some slack, im sure they will be posting more of what happend at CES 07 as quickley as possible. :)

Does that mean we will see prices for bluetooth handsets drop with cariers that are using qualcomm chips? Also more variety when it comes to phones with bluetooth on cdma carriers?

Its missing the 850 band which means it wont work with cingulars network in many parts of new england. Cingular in Conneticut(USA)for example only uses the 850 band, where as T-MO uses the 1900 band primarily. I think the northeast is still one of the largest regions as far as subscribers go for any of the 4 majors, hence I doubt cingular would pick up a phone which wouldnt work there lol.

No you will not be able to recieve email from a pop3 account without haveing a PDA connect feature added. I suggest the unlimited package for 39.99/mo. Being a corporate user myself I assure you that anything less is asking for overage on your next bill. Alot of overage.

Cingular has its data network basically split in half with 50 percent of it dedicated to voice and 'regular' phone data i.e. phones useing wap browsers and packet data limited to 165 characters. The other half of its network is dedicated to PDA connect and laptop connect data transfer. Faster transmission period.
