Re: thinking of holding out...
Metro should be launching a 4G Android device in the first quarter, I believe I read on the newsfeed here.
The Craft is crap, however. I'd rather use two tin cans and smoke signals to communicate to people.
Re: Sometimes I wonder why Las Vegas seems to always be first with Nexgen networks.
Las Vegas is host to millions of millions of people coming in to gamble, see shows and concerts, etc. It makes sense to make Vegas a priority for network enhancements as it gets TONS of traffic.
Tons of people+a variety of different wireless carriers, so I guess that's there reasoning behind making Vegas a top priority.
Re: Can I transfer to another carrier and still keep my number?
Yeah, you can keep your number, just give the carrier you're going to your account number associated with your cell phone number and any social/PIN number. If you're porting from Metro you'll need your PIN number.
Re: ATT customer service surpasses Verizon in latest JD Powers survey
YAY T&T.
Re: Any new phones in the near future for Metro?
iPhone 4G.
Re: E71x clears AT&T checks, drops to stores in 2-3 weeks!!
I'll admit, I had a lot of respect for you until that post that said it has a Lil Polymer battery.
Way to blemish yourself and make no one take you seriously anymore.
I can't wait to listen to the new Lil Polymer song. I hope he gets a Grammy this year.
Re: Honest Answer From Apple Folks
good looks man
Re: Any takers?
LOL DID YOU REALLY LOLOL!!!!!
Re: First
That's true, this seems like a pretty good idea.
Prepared yourself.
Re: Stay Away From ATT 3G Network
Probably the smartest post I've ever read.
Re: Unlock codes
Call customer service and tell them you're going overseas and you need some unlock codes.
Or you can buy them for cheap on eBay.
Re: New to AT&T
Oh how I wish every customer was like you.
Re: 3G Signal
I'm not sure about the 737, but I know the iPhone has an option to turn 3G off and keep it on EDGE/Wifi.
Re: ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL AGENTS AND REPS
While I'm checking CSP, you should check out a tutorial on how to use commas and semicolons.

Re: SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME..........
Before you make a post, make sure you forward it to someone who can make a better attempt at a sentence that includes a solid grammar base and has words that are spelt correctly. After that, maybe we can take you seriously.
3/4s of an inch: that's the distance to your comma button which you should press in order to not sound like an idiot.
Re: iPhone on an ANR plan
COR employees can get the iPhone on their COUs. Well in my market at least. We still don't pay a dime for the service. :-)...
Tilt Question
Hey all,
I just received a new Tilt and it was working fine until I installed Blackberry Connect. The program installed itself and then said Press ok to reboot device.
I did so, and the phone rebooted itself, but now it won't load past the blue/green Windows Mobile screen.
Is there any way to wipe it out by connecting it to my PC (Active Sync?) I've tried removing the battery several times and it still doesn't load past the WM screen.
Thanks! :(

LOL, so true.
Re: Curve
If you go to a retail store and you don't take the Blackberry data plan then more then likely the rep won't sell it to you.
Re: Curve Firmware Upgrades?
From what I know, any existing EDGE enabled phone is stuck running on EDGE, and you can't just upgrade a phone's firmware to get it running on 3G (take the iphone for example, they're releasing a 3G version later in 08, rather then just put a software update on the existing iphone, because the technology in the phone doesn't support 3G).
I used to have a Blackjack and downloading/surfing on 3G was sweet, but then work gave me a ...
Re: Curve
Yeah you have to purchase each feature seperate.
Unlimited push to talk is $9.99.
Telenav (GPS) is 9.99 a month for unlimited routes.
The Blackberry unlimited plan is 29.99 or 39.99 (includes 1500 texts), it's all worth it though.
Re: Um, the old Cingular logo is back on this site...
LOL, I noticed that, too.
Re: Maybe switching to AT&T; need phone advice
The 8310 is a great phone. The Blackberry Pearl was my first Blackberry (the 8310 uses the same software), and it was very easy to pick up and learn. It takes about a week-week and a half to get everything down, but the Blackberrys are typically very well laid out and user friendly, I'd recommend it.
Re: AIM
I'm pretty sure that when you login to your buddy list on the desktop there's a group created called Mobile Device. You need to put the people you want on to talk to on AIM from your phone into that group.
Re: Moto Q for AT&T
It's not bad. I have a Curve on my COU. I don't know if I could ever replace a BlackBerry..I'm just addicted to BB messenger and pinging people for no reason at late hours of the night just to be ridiculous.
Re: Blackberry questions
Hey,
I have a Curve, too. If your memory cards is inserted into your phone correctly, then when you plug the phone into your computer a popup should appear on your screen asking if you want to switch the storage device to the memory card. You obviously want to hit YES.
From there, I just go into My Computer and click on the memory card, because Windows recognizes it as a removable hard disk I believe, the drivers should automatically install ...
Re: Att Pick your plan gophone
You need a debit/credit card in order to sign up for the pick your plan.
Re: The Pantech Duo Specs
but does it have the enough superior firepower to destroy a planet?
Re: Problem!
Hmm..I also can't get the problem to repeat itself. I tried readding her email account to my Curve again and it worked this time, nothing duplicated onto the 8310..hmm..
Re: Problem!
And by deleting it from the actual phone I mean I went into the phone and hit Set up email or whatever the link is and just hit removed when her email addy popped up. I went over to the 8310 in the store and her email was configured on that too, but I've never touched the 8310.
Re: Problem!
I didn't delete it from the BIS site. I deleted it from the actual phone today.
All the emails that were sent to her when her email was set up on my 8300 were sent to the 8310 instead.
And no, I doubt by manager removed the primary device.
Problem!
Okay, here's the weird weird story for you Blackberry experts out there. I need your help!
Okay, the 8300 Curve I have used to be a store phone. The 8310 came out and my manager took the sim card out of the 8300 and put it into the 8310. I don't know what else he did besides that. Now I have the Curve.
Yesterday, I was with my girlfriend and I tried setting up her email on my 8300 Curve because ...
Re: Store Question
Go to a corporate store, you're way better off in most cases.
Re: Erased Messages
I have a Pearl and it does the same thing, and it happens to one of my coworkers too. To emphasize what the above poster said, basically when the Curve's memory starts to get full, it'll delete text messages and emails to try to free up more room so you can still use the phone. There's really no way around this that I know of, except for buying a memory card and storing all of the pictures/ringtones you get ...
Re: Not Happy With T-Mobile
Maybe they'll look into it after they set up their 3G network.
Re: UPSET WITH T MOBILE!!!!!
Oh that's smart. Let's have him go from great (AT&T), to horrible (T-Mobile), to absolutely horrific (Sprint).
Like a poster above me said, go with an iPhone if you want everything in one device.
Re: at&t COR store
The last rep we had in my store who typed in all caps was actually forcibly transfered to the warranty department, so you might want to fix that.
Re: when will I get my Tilt?!?!?
My market got the Tilts in on Friday, they've been selling pretty fast.
Re: AT&T vs Verizion
Why don't you just activate a lien of service on the 30 day trial and see if it works better? If it does call customer service and port your number.
