Yes, we were told we had to get a cingular phone. We've been recieving letters reguarding the merger for months. How is going from unlimited minutes to a set amount of minutes, better? Especially when my friends are using other service providers. Suncom was owned my AT&T, but split after the merger and went regional to where customers could not use them. Cingular refused to let us keep the same plan. This is coming from somebody who ...

Only way I can think of since the phone is crippled is to use a memory card and save them from the computer to the card then place the card into the phone. Other than that, I can't think of any other way.

Sounds almost like a customer I had today. He clearly had corrosion and would not call insurance. Claims we gave him faulty equipment and owe him a new phone. Everyone in the store could clearly see the corrosion since it was not minor. Not even the manager would budge on this one. Customer says that he always gets what he wants... well he didn't get it from us. Unfortunatly another store credited his account the $50 ...

Suncom too?

Does this also include the Suncom customers who were forced to switch to Cingular because when the merge happened Suncom left the area? Will we be notifed or something? I loved Suncom's minutes and had to go to a Cingular plan when they left the area. Ended up just cancelling Cingular down the line...

Your lucky you get them once a week. Now that its summer and I live in a tourist area we get them at least once a day. You tell them it can't be fixed and they continue telling you other issues thinking you can do something on one of them. Or you get the, "I'm not complaining about the corrosion. I can't hear people" and the "I didn't come in because display/housing/phone snapped in half, my phone is not ...

Traveled from Virginia to Texas 3 weeks ago. Had no service w/ Tmo for half the trip. Cancelled last week and went to Cingular. Guess their "better" covereage doesn't work all that well.

Had a guy come in today wanting his phone replaced (which has no issues he just had no clue how to send pix) Well, his bill was 90 days past due for $2080. Why? Well we found out his secretary wasn't paying the bill  Somebody got in big trouble today. The fun part, is he had her on speakerphone and I could hear her studder at every question he asked her.

Bonus Mins

Since I work as a Verizon tech I really don't understand all the billing stuff. Basically, My personal phone is with T-Mobile. I will not cancel a personal line just because I work elsewhere. Well, when I got my new phone, I went through 4 different phones in a week due to all being bad. A T-mobile rep gave me 75 bonus mins for all the trouble. I figured it was just for that month but its still on the ...

I don't think getting the M as a replacement for the C will work. Atleast not for a long time. I'm pretty sure they will keep a stock of the C's in the warehouse as replacement units for atleast a long while. Plus your "defect" will have to be duplicated and if no other way to fix (software update) then a replacement is possible. SO you probably could go from a C to M in replacements, but I don't ...

okay can't edit my own lol. It will be 99 in the end after discount and rebait =p

I would have to say that you were told wrong. NE2 and rebaits do work together. You would get 99.99 discounted if yours is the $100 NE2, and the $100 rebait will make the phone free for NE2 customers. They do not take your NE2 away or rebait away unless you are not eligible. It doesn't matter if you do just voice with pay per kili or voice and data, that does not affect the discounts that you are eligible for. ...

Oh also, Two more problems, well questions.... Is there a way to make it vibe and ring? Or is it just one or the other... No vibes then rings... both at same time... Also, the camera, when faced towards you, is everything supposed to be upside down? lol find that quite.... interesting.

Still learning my T809 and can't figure this out. How do I get the text messages to store to the phone and not the SIM? I can see that it says the phone can store 200 and SIM 30 but can't see how to change it. When the SIM gets full I get no more messages until I empty it. I tried to see if someone else posted about it but didn't see it. Does anyone know how ...
