The VZW-ALLTEL merger was approved Pre-Obama administration. Republicans are in favor of growing businesses where as Democrats tend to prefer smaller companies that they can control. I wouldn't expect any big mergers in the Wireless industry in the next 2 years.
Why No Editorials?
Based on some of your teams posts in the forums I have wondered why you do not do any editorials?
I think most of us here value your teams opinion. Your site does a great job (in my opinion) of staying unbiased towards specific carriers.
I (hopefully) look forward to seeing some editorials from Phonescoop :)

So maybe this is just me but while browsing the site I noticed that you can click on the Phone Scoop logo in the top left to go back to the main page.
However, when already on the main page its just an image, not a link.
I know its dumb and I can just hit refresh or F5 but to keep things consistent it would be nice to have it link back to www.phonescoop.com

This issue seen on this site is people just responding with one or two word comments just to bring an old dead thread back to life.

No worries. Your phone more then likely was not used. (Unless u got it from walmart...lol) but seriously it is a very common problem. All you need to do on your phone is go to. Options--advanced options--host routing table--press the blacberry menu button--choose register now--make sure u get a message in your inbox. Then try to log in again.

Can you show numbers that Apple sold 2.4 million in the us in the first month. I would like to say that number is globally. Unless you are talking about iphone not iphone 3g then I don't know.

The Difference in that situation is ATT is selling 235. While Sprint sold almost all of its towers. It was around 3300.

We don't prepare ourselves for anything. While I do agree that the Govt screwed up the coupon program royally, the solution to this is an easy one.
Continue with the 2/17 transition and do one of three things.
1. Remove the 90 day expiration on the cards or set it out for 12 months.
2. Allow consumers to purchase the converter box between now and the end of the year and set up a rebate program or website to claim ...

Actually to use the FM Radio you need to plug in the proprietary cable first before it will let you scan for stations.

Sounds like when they activated your storm they placed you on the 29.99 plan. As far as the emails in your Gmail folder could be that since you are not activated on the bes and if you have already syncronzed with the desktop software it placed BES books on your phone. You can confirm this by going into service books and looking for Desktop {CICAL} Desktop {CMIME} .
Do you get an email from NETWORK@ETP?

maybe a Samsung with LTE
Then a LG with 1xrtt/ EVDO Rev A/B
Or eventually it will just be LTE for voice and data?

I find it so funny that most (not everyone) for the last few years have complained about Verizon Wireless and there capped data. The same reasons were given about bandwidth, customer experience etc. Nobody cared....just complained.
Now Sprint does it and people on here get pissed that people are complaining. /;|

I know this has been discussed before. I believe the issues was people going and changing their own responses. It would make a conversation hard to keep up with if the dialog kept changing. Although if it had a feature to show the original post then the edited one. There would be no issue of i know you said this.

While I agree with you about Verizon possibly winning the auction, this conference had been pre-scheduled for over one month maybe two.
This announcement doesnt just benefit cell phone manufactures but other industries as well.
Think of this. A smoke detector company wants to market the first smoke detector that alerts your local fire department when it goes off using the EVDO network.
Now im not saying this specific example is going to happen but its ideas ...

Yes, the blackberry is designed this way. Biggest thing you can do if you havn't is purchase memory card. Here is really good article from blackberry about it.
