this sounds like a good thing but if you think about it without subsidaizing the cost of the handset you are gonna end up spending a small fortune to get service this way. I think this a exellent idea, it will give the small emerging companys that have a chance to get as big as sprint, tmobile and cingular a fighting chance to obtain the means to do so..at the same time it will stop attempts at monopoly by the major carriers...........................of course this is all based on of any1 cares or not

dude the hs850 is by far the best and has the most talk time or problably one of the best talk times out there.....also look for the anycomm (nice model released early this year comes in three or four different colors)

What carrier do you have? if you happen to have nextel (not likely) ill recomend the i920.
its exactly the same phone as the high end smartphone (i930) but laking that one vital element, the camera......the features are pretty cool, it is windows mobile

What carrier do you work for? cause i work for Sprint/Nextel and we are haveing a huge dry season if you know wat i mean......we went from 130-120 acts in a month to 40-60 in a month max 70 its downright depressing but its also our fault for being so reluctant to sell sprint phones (but then again the fast activating system suck @$$)

if the program is not an app which is compatible with iden phones chances are that you can not use this program with the i730...to give you my opinion from experience and hard earned knowlege NO you cant...but you can go to motorolas iden section of their website and download the phonebook manager program and it will work the same but it is specified for iden phones.....good luck
