Re: How much memory
If you're referring to the storage capacity related to the phonebook, the LG LX-150 will hold 500 Contacts with each contact storing up to 5 phone numbers, 1 web address and 3 e mail addresses.
Re: Store policy???
Sprint Nextel Inc. corporate stores can not force a customer either activating a new line of service, adding another line of service to an existing account or upgrading their handset to place any of the three handset protections(ERP/ESRP/TEP) plans made available to them on their Sprint account. In other words 8091nafsbuc, whoever told your fiancee that information should be reported to his/her store manager or even better, find out who the RSM is of that particular store of what ...

Re: So outraged to say the very least am I that I could @#$% a brick.
I absolutely hate the fact customers exploit the SERO Program through various means such as complaining to our customer care and retention departments as well as using a particular bogus e mail address to gain access to it. At the rate customers sign up for the SERO program, what will be the sense for us in the direct retail channel to exist. Sure some people still want to come in to our stores and kiosks for hands on interaction ...

Gadzooks! Wrong forum people. LOL! What Lexapro does to you when taken with a Guinness.
Re: Sprint's WiMax - What's the Fuss?
Man, I wish nextel18 you'd shed a bit of light regarding your experience in the wireless industry as knowledgeable you are about it.
Re: Sprint A900
I think he meant that he doesn't have Power Vision on his account or he had the IP Basic & EVDO Casual removed and wants to know whether or not he can still place ringtones on his Samsung A900. The only think I can think of junglemassive is if he purchases DataPilot or similar software to use with a USB cable.

Better than saying bumping the uglies, knocking boots and/or the vertical mambo mambo.
Re: Damn...!
I'll second that people! I'm proud of my accomplishments at Sprint and anything I can do to save our bottom dollar I shall.
Re: 755
Just remember people that luanch dates are subjective to change at any given time period so be prepared and understanding if a wireless products and/or service is either delay for launch and/or completely dropped from the line up.
Re: Is there a manual firmware update for the A900?
Seeing how you have the A900, I'd suggest the M610 as it's slimmer than the A900, has a higher resolution for the digital camera, is stereo Bluetooth compliant and will take up to 2 GB for a microSD card for multimedia storage.
Re: Is there a manual firmware update for the A900?
The Samsung A900M has already been discontinued. If you've had your Samsung A900 less than a year, guess what? You'll be forking out the retail price of $229.99 for a Samsung A900M. If you're having issues with your handset, more than likely if you have the Total Equipment Protection/TEP or Equipment Service and Repair Program/ESRP and take it to one of the Sprint TSRs with your Samsung A900, you'll get another A900 in its place. So the short to ...

The Samsung A920
The CDMA handset I previously was using before I switched to the RED Samsung M500 I had won last year here at the Phone Scoop 2006 Holiday Auction to benefit the Global Fund was the Samsung A920 and feel it's an excellent 1xEV-DO Rev 0 (Power Vision) handset. The main reason I switched to the M500 was the fact it's a bit slimmer and compact as well as the fact it supports both stereo Bluetooth as well as speech ...

Samsung M620/Upstage II
Re: Need some answers from Sprint Reps...
Until May 13th people, you can get a 1 GB microSD card free with the purchase of the Samsung M620/Upstage II and the $20 per month Power Vision Music Pack. With a new activation or a 2 year qualified upgrade and 2 year contract renewal, the Upstage II is $99.99 after a $50 mail in rebate.

Well you may wish first to tell us who your mother's wireless provider is as well as thew type of wireless device you're trying to configure her Yahoo! Mail account on so we can assist you with the troubleshooting as your forum thread is quite obscure and generalized.

The Samsung SCH-i830
Nerdkiller, since you have Verizon Wireless, why don't you consider upgrading to the Samsung SCH-i830 which is quad band (850/1900 MHz CDMA & 900/1800 MHz GSM, 1xRTT/1xEV-DO Rev 0 & GPRS) so you can use the various GSM carriers over there in Shanghai and the various CDMA wireless carriers here in North America? Even though the majority of innovative wireless/electronic devices come from Hong Hong nerdkiller, there's quite a bit that comes from the Shanghai region. Just stay away ...
Re: Mafioso's, Suit Up, We're going into Battle
Would you please clarify your statement Snuggles on how Sprint isn't releasing new phones? The Sanyo SCP-7050, Samsung M620/Upstage II as well as the Motorola Q are well just released within the last month or two. The reason I ask is because there are quite a few new CDMA handsets as well as another PowerSource one launching very soon. If you're going to be smoking a banana peel Snuggles, please make sure it's ripe first. LOL!
Re: Carriers Forum change up
LOL! One of our TRSMs from the ATL has been test driving the Motorola ic902 and I was able to view it as well as obtain the final specifications for Sprint. As soon as the ic902 becomes part of our Advantage Club, I plan on getting one.
Re: Hall of Fame
If a Hall of Fame does indeed launch here at phone Scoop, I'll be nominating Sprint's Samsung M620/Upstage II as the most innovative wireless multimedia handset.

Re: Indirect Reps
Don't worry digitmasher. You'll be back on the direct side in less than 60 days now, right in time for the back to school/preholiday season. We'll keep a corporate light on for you.
So outraged to say the very least am I that I could @#$% a brick.
This is so messed up to say the very least which I'm personally disappointed to hear. Why should you as an exisiting Sprint customer be allowed to switch over from their existing wireless plan with us to a SERO plan when the SERO program is meant to be a for new wireless customers as a personal referral from a Sprint employee. To add insult to injury, you're getting a NVP discount on top of your SERO plan??? I firmly ...
Re: Sprint's WiMax - What's the Fuss?
In essence Snuggles, WiMAX is like a WiFi network on Vault capped off with a Red Bull. LOL!
Serious though, here's what WiMAX is for Sprint (per their PR)

SCP-8400 & PPC-6800
Seeing that you now have the Sanyo MM-8300 dustcloud9, I'd suggest moving up to it's big brother, the SCP-8400 since this CDMA handset meets all your requirements and I can honestly say should be around for a bit before it meets end of life. As far as the PPC-6700 is concerned, skip it. Wait for the PPC-6800 which should be launching in the very near future.
Re: How dishonest you are and what DHRP means.
Nope, DHRP isn't proprietary nor internal information so nice try wilocrek. As far as wishing to have traded my Samsung A920 with digitmasher for his Samsung M500 is concerned, I already have one of the M500's which is my EDRP phone, my A920 is one not in service at the moment.
Re: Sprint needs to loose Nextel iden Concentrate on WiMax
Just wait until Boost Mobile's unlimited plan grows out of the CA and TX markets where it currently launched. Wireless carriers like Metro PCS and Cricket Wireless will end up shaking and quaking in their boots. I pray though Boost Mobile will add a few more CDMA handsets to their line up as I wouldn't give a Motorola C290 to even my worst enemy. LOL!
How dishonest you are and what DHRP means.
How nice of you to suggest something so dishonest to do. I pray you don't actually work for corporate Sprint. People just need to be content with the wireless device they currently have because if they are going to wait for the next and best one to hit the market, guess what people? Just like computers and related hardware, if you do, you'll never own one. They really isn't a significant difference between the 700p and ...
DHRPing a 700p for a 755p? Not going to happen anytime soon.
You do realize that until replacement seed stock (new as well as refurbished) of the Palm Treo 750p are depleted, you won't be seeing a Palm Treo 755p anytime soon. Remember, our TSRs have to go by what wireless device shows in eTicket. They too have M&Ps to follow. LOL!
Re: Carriers Forum change up
LOL! Good one satch of the moe. Good one. LOL! Yet another day in the wireless maze like scampering rats seeking out their wedges of cheese.
Re: Carriers Forum change up
I do appreciate your prompt response Rich to my inquiry from earlier this morning. I'd like to think Rich one of the primary reasons in point #2 for including the PowerSource subscribers under Sprint CDMA is because both the voice and data channels are currently carried over the Sprint 1xRTT network (1xEV-DO Rev 0 & Rev A once one of these types launches) while the PTT still goes over the iDEN one.
Carriers Forum change up
By any chance Rich was the change in the Carriers section made to reflect the ranking of the wireless carrier as far as the Tier 1 carriers are concerned? The reason I ask Rich is because I noticed the Sprint and the Sprint Together With Nextel are no longer side by side as they were a day ago and it appears the wireless carriers are indeed in order of subscriber numbers.
Re: Not a great quarter 1 2007, but recovery is happening. (Data ARPU)
Just curious nextel18, but how is the iDEN side going to improve when it appears the initiative of Sprint, aside from consolidating back office systems, is to gradually migrate iDEN subscribers off a legacy platform to CDMA by enticing them with significant discounts on PowerSource handsets? Aside from the current limitations for GPS solutions on the PowerSource handsets, I honestly can't see why Sprint would even consider selling iDEN only handsets past the Motorola i880. Nextel18, you are one ...
