Has anyone else used the coverage locator on their web site. Not bad. I'm still not sure if "Enhanced Service" means their 1X network. It's under support on the main homepage.

Maybe you should read the article again. Look for keywords "spectrum" and "MHz". http://www.t-mobile.com/company/pre ssroom/pressrelease100.asp

What? TMO is buying the network (CA, NV).

You should look into using a spell checker.

I found the following listing on their web site but I'm trying to find out what cities or if there is a coverage map available. Presently offered Cingular EDGE. - Atlanta, GA - Indianapolis, IN - Kansas - Kentucky - Michigan - Missouri - Ohio - Central Tennessee - Western Tennessee - Wisconsin

And actually I was wanting to know if it's even possible to get seamless service when you roam on the grps for some of the carriers you listed?

I thought you actually had a list from Cingular that said these are the roaming partners and this is where you can roam on gprs. I don't think all of the above have completely overlayed gprs yet, except tmo.

I agree. The yellow with orange outline is their GSM/GPRS and the light yellow with no outline is their Analog or TDMA not sure. I still don't understand why Puerto Rico is a color all by itself. The purple is Western Wireless, Cingular, T-Mobile.

8O I was wondering if you can use all of your features in this area? For example Western Wireless is quite a bit of the purple on the map, is the grps features seamless or do they even work or do I get billed roaming? J

Keep in mind most of that is future T-Mobile coverage and AWE coverage. Your GPRS functions probably won't work.

I didn't think they were still activating TDMA customers unless there was no GSM service in the area?

AT&T Wireless activation down four days +

Anyone know why the system has been down for the last four days and counting? New customers are unable to active their phones. Is it because AT&T is outsourcing all Engineering and IT?

When it comes to PTT it would be Nextel hands down. Even if you work for Verizon you would realize that the VZ PTT is not so fast and lags often.

Why on their map does it show some of their service area as not being covered by mobile to mobile? Is this TDMA roaming? The orange outline doesn't always cover the orange service area.
