although embarassing, I dropped mine in the toliet twice...dried it with a hair drier, opened the screen to face the sun, and it still works perfect

Alot of the problem with getting the dcu-11 cable to work is in the z500a phone itself. The connectors inside the phone get lose and make a bad connection so that Sony's or Floats program wont get a connection. I found that if I jiggle(the only word I could think of) the cable while it was trying to connect, I would get a connection every time

I bought the DCU-11 cable a month ago, and I have just leaned how to use it. The problem lies with the driver you are installing. If you bought the cable from a third party then it seems you can't use sony ericssons driver.You can get the driver from here:http://home.netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/dku5 / Install the driver from the location rather then downloading it.(There is a reason why, but it would take forever to explain) once the driver is installed plug in you cable to ...
