As Russell Casse once said "I'm Baaaaaack" after 6 years. I'm still with Verizon and use an Android phone with unlimited text and call and a few gigs for a monthly prepaid plan of only $30. Far cry from the $$ Sprint CHARGED me back in 2011.

He's not mad, just sheltered. While he may be partial to only one system I've the benefit of having many device's on different os.

Wow, I see you responded back as well. Bothersome threads I simply ignore. Anyway, I've been doing this since 2006, pop in a couple times a year and look around and post wherever I feel like it. I still post on one of my phones at the time I created the account. So not out of boredom but something I've done for about 7 years.

I've never noticed a speaker phone option on my phone. If so where is it at in settings? Sorry to hear of the trouble hearing, possibly might be some sort of debris that's stuck in the ear hole. I've no problems hearing from mine though....

Depends on usage. My Touch, iPad carry tons of games and although I have some games on my Nexus 7, its main use is for news, weather, notes, checkbook, etc. I use both platforms quite regularly but I believe Apple pulls ahead because of iTunes holding more inventory than Google Play at this time. Imo, its all about what you can put into your device. (other than just making a call, if comparing phones).

Yea, I finally got mine a few weeks ago. Had to order it online because Best Buy or any B&M stores don't stock that size. I feel a little more secure knowing I've got the space for those apps and games that are getting bigger with each release it seems. I'm sure there will be an even bigger GB coming in the later part of the year for the iPad 4 with possibly a 256GB (or more?) Mine's black btw, like ...

I never seen an option for this. Probably due to the fact that it would drain the battery a lot quicker.

Hey thanks for the reply and after using it for awhile now I'd left a promising review. I enjoy the battery life, reception and clear calls the most as I'd wanted a no frills phone just for those quality's and this phone has them all. I agree that this is one of the better phones Verizon has put out and very happy to have purchased it.

Well I've since lost or tossed this phone and have another for a paperweight. I also hope Carole has found another phone by now.:) I've just bought yet another one (many others since this phone:P). Its a LG Revere and haven't even made a call yet but confident its a winner. Oh well, thought to jot down this post in one of the farthest outer regions of the forums site.:)

Good Talk Time for this Phone?
Jan 23, 2012, 8:53 PM
in the LG Revere / Revere 2 forum

Just bought this phone based on website reviews and this one as well. Thought there would be some that have the phone and commented. This is a fairly basic call phone only and perfect for what I need. I've not used it much but one major factor in the purchase was the battery life. Anyone use this phone a lot in talk time and get the quoted 7+ hours of usage? I've charged it a few days ago and ...

People paying over $200+ on a cellphone bill? :o Don't care who you are calling. Not worth it. That's almost a payment for a small car. You could drive possible in that new car to speak to them in person.

My alarm clock!

in the Samsung SPH-N200 forum

My old N200 still has life as an occasional alarm clock. I even leave my old Sanyo 8100 in the bathroom for use cuz of the games I had downloaded! My neighbor uses the screen on his old phone for a flashllight! Wonder if anyone still have uses for their older phones?

Sanyo as a back-up!
Mar 2, 2006, 9:00 AM
in the Sanyo VI-2300 forum

For 3 years I had used the older 8100 model and loved it. But I was swayed by the new A900 (the Blade) by Samsung mainly because of the Bluetooth option which Sanyo doesn't (at this time) have. So I use the A900 for multi-media use (which sucks the life out of the battery) and also bought the VI2300 for a back-up phone. For $10 more per month for an extra line I figured it would be worth the ...

Did it AGAIN!!! Even had Sprint rep on the phone cuz had another update message on my phone and worried that I'd get the "white screen" a second time. He somewhat assured me that it wouldn't happen again but while he was on the phone I updated it and the same thing happened. Oh yea, he was very apologetic but it's not going to save me a trip to service dept again. Thought to post this for all who ...

Yea, I got the white screen too after updating phone. Took it to service dept yestereday and had it fixed within 1 hour. They said it was the LCD (main display screen). If you angle the screen towards the keys you can see the phone is actually working properly except for the brightness of the screen.
