Re: Flip 69's 'in poor taste' post of my review... Verizon called me to clear things up and apologize for the bad information regarding the brightness issue and is overnighting me a new Samsung Galaxy S3 and keeping in place my unlimited data plan. The review that I posted was due to Verizon's and Samsung's tech departments NOT-KNOWING their phone and the local Verizon tech not looking through the settings properly to find the 'fix' that's there all along. This is a phone... first... and a ...

Use the Droid in Europe and Latin America?

Even though I've had the same cell number for sixteen years, my knowledge of using the CDMA phones throughout the international arena is limited. Tell me, w/o the GSM mode... how can I use this phone internationally? Or should I wait for a tri or quad-mode version of the Droid to be released on the VZ network?
