Umm... Buying clothes from Kohl's and from the GAP is TOTALLY different, BTW. Kohl's clothes are crap. The shirts are cut like crap. The GAP is for a more fitted, taylored look.

in the Samsung MM-A940 forum

I used this phone for a couple of days and for a Samsung, I was impressed. HOWEVER, there is one major flaw. When the device was low on battery and I could not use the camera, I hooked it up to the charger. I tried to use the camera while the phone was on the charger and it STILL WOULD NOT let me use the camera because the battery was low. What's up with that? Shouldn't the device still allow ...

I hear there will be a software upgrade for the PPC=660X so they will be EVDO. They are capable but need the functionality to turn it on.

Update: I was using Orb on my 7400 and now you can watch videos and listen to mp3s on your device. It plays via the Media Player. So you don't need a Windows Media device to do this. It doesn't let me view the photos tho. I think watching vids and listening to mp3s is a good trade off. :)

I am not sure if this was discussed yet but there is a website http://orb.com/ that allows you to view video & photos and listen to music & watch videos from your PC to almost any mobile device. It will also allow you to watch live TV if your computer has a TV tuner. I have the 7400 so it doesnt work put I tried it on a PPC and it works great. Also, you can access your files from ...

...for a business to get this for their company. It doesn't offer Vision so if the company doesn't subscribe to it, they will not get casually billed. It also doesn't have a camera. Most companies do not allow camera phones in their buildings because of proprietary information being leaked. Good move. Companies have an option now.

I owned a 8100 before so I am getting used to the changes of the 8200. When you log off of the web, Ready Link prepares itself. It takes about an additional 5 seconds. When you launch the web, it takes an additional 5 seconds for Ready Link to disable itself then it connects to the web. Sometimes it can get on your nerves. I have RL disabled as I don't know enough people who has it to bother with it.

Well... Yahoo Pictures does not work with the handset. The only thing is, the website will not let me remove it from my account (It bills monthly). Also, Business Connection is all jumbled on the screen. You can't see anything. I reported it to the powers that be (a good friend who can get things done). Hopefully there will be a software update for this. I have to get used to the volume being on the other side and the Ready ...

I have this and some kind of way I was able to see my Short Mail. I did it via a link through Vision. Dunno which one tho. I saw everyone on my shortlist.

I tried the RL today and it is pretty cool. I only took about 5 seconds to connect (connects via Vision, doesn't use minutes). Once connected, there was a 1 to 2 second delay in voice transmission. The Sanyo 7200 is basically the 4900 in a different shell but with RL added. I was told that the 4900 could be upgraded to handle RL. I guess Sprint and Sanyo didn't go that route.

Apparently when your mom changed plans, the rep changed it for today instead of the end of the bill cycle. When it is made today, you are prorated. It should have all washed though because she should have recieved credit for the MRC not used. Did she go over her minutes? If she used a lot of minutes before the bill cycle is over then the system will calculate the minutes per day and charge overage. i.e. If she had a ...

I had the N400 and had the same problems. I got a Sanyo 8100 and it keeps a longer battery life because of the "sleep" mode. It also picks up a signal better than the N400. I know people say the phones shouldn't make a difference when it comes to signal but with the N400 vs the 8100, I can see a big change.
