We are located in lima ohio...when we called customer care we would call 1-800-968-8159, but that number is no longer in existence. So to get right through to customer care for Agents is there any number we could call instead of the telesales department 1-800-922-0204

:lol: this girl made me breakfast once.. she made waffles...well she served them to me with peanut butter on them..at first i thought it was going to be nasty. but after she poured the syrup on it and I took a bite.. I was like wow! The waffles were hot so it kind of melted the peanut butter and it was delicous! Is that just an Ohio thing? Have y'all ever had waffles or pancakes with peanut butter on it ...

I don't know if it has anything to do with what store we're at! Although, we are an indirect at the Lima, Ohio Mall. We process our orders through eroes.....if that helps.

For the last few weeks we have noticed at our store that credit and activations have been letting customer upgrade long before their equipment eligibility date... my coworker upgraded a guy who just upgraded six months ago...what is going? Could it be glitches in the system? Anyone going through this? :wink:

GSM carriers use a network-based technology for E-911 that doesn't require GPS in the phone. The technology that they use, use 3 cell sites to triangulate the location. I think you dont really understand about what is law. It was mandated and law that all carriers must have a way to track or pinpoint a callers location; hence, GPS. However the carrier designs a means to locate the caller is what matters. Verizon using the gps in the phone...other carriers that don't have gps phones (like to tmo or whoever) utilize different means to locate a person...i.e., through location with the tower.... I work as an agent of verizon and I have the lg vx 8100. I am a former t-mobile customer. There are many differences some good some bad. Coming from t-mobile I was shocked at what I could not do with a verizon phone. I loved my t-mobile sidekick...but lost it in a repoed car...I was mad...Nonetheless, If I had to choose another carrier it would be back to t-mobile..but I don't know if I would ...

I got an lg vx8100.. I think its an overall great phone.... Next I read all about bitpim and downloaded the software. Then I got a usb bluetooth adapter for the computer.. after numerious but frustating attemps I managed to get the phone paired up with the computer and bitpim recognized it at com 6.. although it didn't detect phone, but if i got to file system the innards of the phone shows up. the first cell phone i had was an altel phone..service was okay..so was the phone but nothing impressive... the second service i had was pageplus prepaid..it was a joke...service wan't any good... the third was tmobile..i went through a few phones..the service was good in some areas and the phones were excellent..i ended up with a sidekick..it was/is a great phone..i truly enjoyed the unlimited txt (to anyone) unlimited internet and as well as sending pictures... lastly, since i work for verizon, ...

most verizon store or verizon agents have a machine called a cellbrite...they use this machine to transfer number from one phone to another...this machine has a card that you put your sims card in, then it copies the contacts off the sims card and transfers them to the cell phone. In northeast ohio most verizon dealers charge $15 dollars for phonebook transfers..at least thats how much we charge.....most agents don't know they have a "card" that you can place ...

the way it works, for renewing your contract and utilizing your new every two...you get a phone at the promotional cost and and additional $100 off... the account you are getting the new phone for is being renewed thats why the the phone needs to say on the account for at least 30 days..and plus there is no commission on the sale is the phone isn't on the account for 30 days.. you get a $100 off promotional cost ...

there are some verizon phones that have both cdma and gsm technologies in them, so technically yes there are verizon phones that can use sims cards but verion doesn't support or use gsm... Moto and nokia have phones that are both cdma and gsm (sims cards) that verizon uses.

i work for verzion but have yet to be late on a bill, but when i had a t-mobile phone, when i was late it was suspended..i could not make calls but i could receive it for a limited time. on verizon prepaid, if you are suspended, it will auto reply with a text saying someone tried to call or text you but your balance is depleted..it may do the same thing...on contract..but im not sure..hope that helps you...by ...
