I assume you don't mind using Activesync on your laptop. If you need to install it on your laptop use this link for version 4.2 http://shorterlink.com/?PSR5X4 After it's installed you can use the USB cable that came with your phone or if your Laptop supports IR (infrared - like a remote control) that session can be initiated from the PDA. Is it the Verizon 6700 CD you need? If you only want to reinstall the OS/preloaded software you can login into verizonwireless.com and find the upgrade link. Either way the latest software update from Verizon is a good update to have.

I only know of the BT200, which I also have. I suggest that you turn on the answer feature of the BT200 so it will work like the headset that shipped with the I700. Here is a post I gave a few months back... To configure this you must enable the feature. To do this you could follow the directions on the included yellow brochure or 1) Unplug the A/C adapter 2) put the headset in the charger/adapter 3) press the "stylus button" ...

I suggest the "PhoneLock/Caller picture" app here http://sdsoft.net/i700.aspx That's what I use and it works pretty well. Just remeber to activate voice dial with it hold the record button (even works when locked). -Brian
