That is exactly what I was thinking about doing, I'll have to find a headset that isn't working and give that a try....I'll report back what I find here 8)

Oh Snap, does that mean radio won't work with BT headset? Is the 'radio antennae' in the 3.5mm headset jack?

This seems to be more 'public-friendly' than the 8830 'corporate-friendly' version...I don't believe the 8830 has a 2MP camera and doesn't have the improved music player or miniSD capacity... Regardless, I agree VZW needs to get this into our hands ASAP :D

Since HTC/i-mate only makes GSM phones... :roll: Considering I'm in the market for a CDMA/Verizon phone... The Treo 700W is looking pretty good... :twisted:

OK, OK...*goof* I answered part of my own question...does anyone know of a SD to CF converter available? Does anyone know if GPS functionality will be available beyond E911?

Hi, I think I read that it will have a single Compact Flash slot on the top. 1. Is this an accurate statement? 2. Are there going to be any other slots? 3. Will this CF slot handle a CF GPS card? 3a. Will Windows Mobile 5.0 support GPS software/apps? If 1, is accurate, does anyone know if you can use a CF converter to SD or miniSD? I've seen a CF converter that will hold TWO different types of cards ...
