it all depends on area like everyone is saying... the phone (nokia 6682) is great... granted it has it's issues but those are easy to work around and will be fixed... check your area for service because it all comes down to your area... but as far as providers... it's cingular or verizon... no one else is really worth it.

The 32k and the 64k are different... the 64k has more memory... they work the same with contacts so ignore that those comments... it all has to do with the network that the SIM card picks up. the 32k sim card was made to work with the old cingular network before the merger with ATT. Your phone will roam differently when using the 32k vs. the 64k. you basically are going to look for what is now t-mobiles network ...

lockline WILL insure this phone... not sure why but they do. I've called and ask them myself so I know for a fact that it is ok to do.
And by the way this phone retails at 400 from cingular... so 50 for a deduct and even the 50 for a years worth of insurance saves you plenty...

cingular has just recently (the last week) restocked the inventory and the new phones should be working fine... I don't know if the firmware is upadated but we are told that the phone should be working fine.
