to expand on how if you're stuck ... how: menu settings and tools (farthest to the right) display backlight keypad you can also make it a shortcut key so there are less steps if you like tot turn yours on and off often (for example: off -when a school txting on -at night ,everyday)

I've heard many people say they enjoy the instant messanging on this phone, but do you have to pay an extra monthly fee?(a certain dollar amount for a certan amount of im's?) or do you pay for it through the internet time? also, what extra features trhought verizon and accesories are a must have with this phone?

FON?!? is that the new slang for phone? haha thast great. i really liked this phone, it's too bad...i think i'll keep considering it though. thank you for bringing this to my attention though becasue i didn't see any horribly negative reviews in the 'user reviews', so thank you. if i see any more negative ones i will not look at this phone any longer.what do you mean the screen was upside down?

in case possible buyers have not seen the commercials or gone to the verizon website recently (past 3 days), this phone is on sale for 49.00 thats 100 bucks off of what they riginally have it posted for. The sale lasts until sunday i think the commercial said!

pop-up screen

i've heard everyone say they love the pop-up screen. I've also heard that the screen doesn't lock in place. does this mean that while i'm holding the phone talking to someone with the screen 'out' the screen may simply slide back in and hang up on whomever i'm talking to?

if you find a way to amke the popup dissapear tell me becasue i'm thinking about buying the phone, but f there's always a popup i will not!
