240 per device over the life of a contract. for an individual, it's not such a big deal. but for a family line with 5 lines, 5 X 240, that's where the money starts to make customers irate.

I really hope they're just making this for new customers, but still, let's see if they notice any change and get it right again. Probably not. LOL I did see someone say they will raise the rate with an ESN swap? COME ON! WTH! TMOBILE is looking better and better.... (And mind you, I hate TMOBILE)

Just got off the phone with a customer service rep, he's "not sure" about the changes, but what I'm worried about is my SERO plan, let's hope that's not affected.... Hesse, you had it right with the Premiere upgrades and discounts, let CLEAR pick up the slack and stop punishing loyal customers. It is still the best value, but what is Sprint thinking? This will impact it's users to the point where it may push usersaway in favor of other services who charge a few bucks more. I'm seriously thinking about switching over now, because even though I save a few dollars, this changes things drastically. 10 dollars a line on a five line family line is a huge increase. check this site out. works wonders. you need to understand how to install the stuff, but you should be able to pick it up quickly. also remember the more apps you have running, the more the system starts to lag. it could affect responsiveness as well. try these small mods and you'll notice better response times. hope this helps.
Custom Ringtones? Mp3 ringtones? help please!

This isn'tlike the normal wm phones where you can just copy and drag files to the rings directory. Does anyone know how to customize ringers? In settings it's already set as the desired file but it still defaults to the treo ringtone. Please get back to me with this!

No way, flashing it? do you have any idea that gsm and cdma are not interchangable? whoever is claiming to be able to do this either miraculously has rebuilt the insides of the phone to carry a cdma signal, and then gotten it to fit into the 8300's housing. i highly doubt, no i'm 100% sure he can't do it. he could load the software all he wants, bottom line is it won't get a signal. be real here. ...
