sadly...i WAS excited but have really been all excited out. No way I am getting this now, just doesn't interest me anymore. I wanted this 6 months ago when it was new, but now its kinda old when compared to the rest of the phones out there, oh well.

ok seriously...sprint is now going to have the htc touch out before verizon gets the 6800 out? this is pathetic. sadly, what can you do. they are like the power company, so big that they could care less. year old phones, data plans that are expensive as all hell. eh. verizon should just make a deal with sprint that after they are done selling last years phones, verizon can sell what they have left in the warehouse.

Oh how man times have i heard this, "So i talked to so and so at Verizon and THEY said the 6800 is coming out in 2 weeks." In 2 weeks youll call back when it wasnt released, still a verizon customer and they will string you along for another 2 weeks. pathetic on their part. Sad when i see better phones coming out for other cariers months before verizon even mentions their phone. Verizon's data plan is $45 ...

sprint gives free unlimited internet? verizon you can use as a modem, and i get much better coverage with verizon in brooklyn, than sprint. in fact i had sprint and would go roaming in major parts of downtown brooklyn, sprint told me to turn off roaming so i dont roam there, but then i couldnt use my phone! My dad used to ask how often i roam, he is with sprint, and he roams on I95 b/w DC and ...

why is the mogul better? its the HTC Titan, exactly as the VX6800. there may be slight software differences, but we wont know till the VX6800 comes out, and I doubt there will be that much of a diff. just like there is no diff between the sprint and verizon 6700s.

you want ppc-6700 hacks at trianglepowers.com. you also just need to download the .net compact framework from microsoft. it has several great tweaks...one being "No SMS Sent Notificaction"

ok, here is a problem i have, and i think i know why...i think. There are 3 buttons on the side. the top button (button #5) was once used for the voice dial and record (push and push&hold) unitl...i installed microsoft voice command! now, even after uninstalling it, only the press&hold function works, not the push action. anyone had this problem? a fix? and does anyone know how i could just reinstall or restart my phone back to how ...

WiFi instead of using verizon internet??
I have the 6700 now and can connect to the via wifi, but every time i try to go onto internet explorer, it tries to dial into (#777) the verizon network. Now i need the network to be open for pix/flix messaging, i just have the pay as you go plan, but is there a way to make it so it uses the wifi to connect to the internet?? please help i dont want to spend $30/month for internet ...
Sending pic messages
I just got the xv6700 and activated it. I noticed i cant send pix/flix messages. everything else works great, perfect, but i cant send a picture message or recieve one! verizon told me to take the phone back...but everything else works great! thank you so much!!

yea, the a950 doesnt learn new words, it was suppossed to be in a new software update. there is an update out, but i dont know if its in it or not.

I had the same problem, but i found that if i slowed down the speed of the voice it made it a little easier to understand...

when you save a pix or flix, it is saved to the default folder. is there anyway to add folders on the memory card?

just go to the camcorder, go to options and change the recording mode to normal and you have it. although you cant get it off your phone cause its too big to email, no blue tooth, and you dont have a memory card or usb cable.
camera delay...?
I love this phone, love the camera, but one thing i hate. there is a delay after i press to take a picture and the actually taking of the picture. so if i push the button and then move the camera, i miss the shot. or if i try to take a picture of something the is not stationary, cant do it. anyone know why or how to fix this? thanks!
change the faceplate...
i was not a big fan of the red face plate when i got this phone, and now i see that there are new faceplates out there...cheap too (7bucks), but how easy is it to change the face on these phones so its a different color. is there a hidden screw somewhere? thanks!
Save new pics to card?
I can save video to the transflash card, but when i change the memory for the camera to card it gives me this pop up "camera error 42". and if i try to MOVE a pic to the card that is saved on the phone...it says saving to card...then its gone. not on the phone, not on the card. thanks for the help!

I have been having the same problems???? the bluetooth icon on the phone goes away randomly and i have to turn the phone off and back on and it picks up the bluetooth headset instantly.

does anyone know if there will be an update so the phone can have high sound with vibrate...probably the one thing holding me back from this phone...

I was waiting for the razr...oh, months ago. truthfully, its like waiting for last years model to finally be available to the underclassed society. i dont keep up to date as much as most of you, but come on, i feel like im waiting so i can get the cool phone all the cool people had months ago.
