AT&T BlackJack II Plans
Ok can someone give me a rundown on what actually will work with the Blackjack II. I have been on the phone with Reps and they say all they will offer is the PDA Data Plan and if my wife wants to text message, etc those will be additional charges.
That is stupid that an all in plan or something is not avaiable. I have a PDA phone and all I have is the Media net and it works ...

Wrong Number
OK this is really bothering me more all the time. I have had my same number for years and now ever since I purchased the 3125 I am getting bombarded with wrong number calls. I called Cingular and they have no clue as to what it could be and just want to change my number but that is a hassle for me.
No one is making calls from my number but me as I have checked my call logs. ...

I can't pinpoint how long its been happening but I had the phone a bit, about 14 months I guess. If you stopped selling them that long ago then the stores here in Katy, Tx were selling them when they shouldn't have been. I was not expecting the warranty to cover it. I had problems with the battery life and worked with Cingular reps on trying different batteries. All which I paid for 3 in total. Same results ...

Well as for the insurance it was the store personel that asked me if I wanted to pick up the insurance and I said yes.
As for being polite I have been very polite with them I work in Sales for another type of industry but I know being an ahole won't get you anyplace. It wouldn't with me and I wouldn't expect it to with another company.

S710A Replacement Problems
OK have been having problems with my 710a for sometime now. Battery just can't keep charge. Have gone through multiple batteries to justify to Cingular there is a problem. Finally and out of the blue they tell me after asking me to look at some little blot of paper that has turned pink that my phone has been submerged in water and everything is voided.
What a load of crap. This phone has never come close to water or ...

Thanks for the input. I actually figured out after seeing yours worked that if I turned off the handsfree Magic Word my voice dialing works fine.

Well I called Sony Ericsson and asked them about this function and they told me that it only works with a headset or handsfree car kit. This sucks cause its a function I use alot for work and they did admit that the feature and information on it in there manual is very misleading. I asked why they could have added this feature also as it would be quite simple and if very handy safety wise.

Voice Dialing
Ok have figured everything out so far except the voice dialing and magic word. Have all my numbers that will be used for voice dialing programed but can't for the love of me get the thing to dial using voice. The book says use the volume buttons or Magic Word and niether work. All functions are activated.
Does voice dialing on work with a headset ? If so this kinda sucks.

Sony Ericsson V800
Anyone hear or know if Cingular will carry this phone. I read up on it and it seems to have everything I want on my phone. Of course because of that it probably won't get carried.
If I bought it unlocked and put my Cingular chip in it would it work or should I expect problems from Cingular.

No Razr as I have 3 coworkers who have that phone and all hate it looking to change. As for the 710 it is not offered here in Houston. There seems to be lots of cool phones with the features I want but no offered by Cingular in my area.
Plus I don't want another Motorola have had noting but problems with them so far.
Thats the reason I thought about getting an unlocked phone and putting my chip in ...
Decent Cingular Phone
Ok have read the forums here and am new to them. I have currently a Moto V600 and this is the 3rd piece of junk they have given me. Pretty much fed up with Motorola phone. Thing is I have been on the phone with cingular and they have told me there are no new phones coming out soon to there knowledge. Of course this could just be because the support people acctually don't know.
