Two Difference Versions of the iPhone 4 for VZW!?
Mar 8, 2011, 2:54 PM
in the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA) forum

What is the difference between the following two versions of the Verizon Wireless Apple iPhone 4: BCG-E2422A and BCG-E2422B? Mine original phone, ending in B, was replace by Apple with a version ending in A, and I'm concerned that it does not vibrate as strongly. Please advise! Thank you!

Colors

in the Motorola W755 forum

2 Questions: 1. Is there any way to change the outter display coloring? Or is Black the only option? 2. I prefer the blue keypad backlight as opposed to the very very dim white backlighting. Any way to have it be blue at all times? Good evening.

Toggling between Ringer and Vibrate
Dec 27, 2008, 11:28 PM
in the Motorola W755 forum

2 Questions: 1. Is there any way to toggle between an audible ring tone and vibrate only with the phone closed w/o having to use the nonsense 'false' keys on the top portion of the phone - similar to the way that you were able to do so w/ a Razr? 2. Why when I toggle between an audible ring tone and vibrate only - whether using the outter buttons when the phone is closed or using the pound button when ...

Apr 17, 2006, 12:58 PM
in the Motorola V710 forum

have you guys been returning your phones with or without your batteries? i know that we do not need to include any additional accessories purchased, unless we want to - but what about the battery and the holster that came with the phone. i emailed the settlement administrator and they did not give me a definate response. instead - telling me to refer to the instructions - which are unclear about this point. see below: ---------------------------------- Please refer to the instructions ...

Re: V710 Phone Swap Website is live!

so what are you exactly saying? that if you use the website. purchase a $150 razr. you put this charge on your credit card and then verizon mails you a check to reimburse you? if this is the case. there is the 15 worry free return policy no? couldnt you purchase, get the check (if it comes in time), and then return the phone. meaning it would make sense to purchase something closest to your v710 purchase price? im not stupid, but ...

A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS (V710 SETTLEMENT)
Apr 1, 2006, 7:55 PM

HELLO: 1. Receipt says $320. Used the $70 MIR. Does this equal a $250 credit or a $320 credit? 2. Lets figure that this equals a $250 credit. Interested in a phone priced at $100. What am I left with $0 or $150 in credit? 2. Lets figure that this equal a $320 credit. Intersted in a phone priced at $400. Can I pay the difference? 3. Razr promo is buy one for $100 get one free. With a $250 credit could I ...

ultima: yea i did need the phone that badly because i was waiting a whole year for verizon to deliver. im a die hard verizon / Motorola user and wouldn't switch that up for anything. the combo is unparalleled - never had any issues with service (signal - or customer service - EVER). and yea verizion IS a business and i knew that the price was going to drop - all that i am saying is that i am ...

Price Drop... So Soon? Unfair.
Mar 16, 2006, 8:37 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

To all of those early adoptors of Verizion's Razr... Isn't anyone upset that Verizon's current promo is Buy 1 Razr for $100 get a second for free? I feel that this is completely unfair. Of course the ball is completely in VZW's court - to price their products as they please, but I paid roughly $300 for mine about 3 months ago. Three months does not justify a price drop of more than 80%. Verizon should have unveiled the ...

greyboy: so you are saying that if i view the missed call from the all calls list this would not remove it. but if i view hte missed call from the missed call list this would remove it? software update definately needed to resolve if that is the case. thanks.

MISSED CALL ICON
Dec 31, 2005, 8:46 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

For some reason my missed call icon does not go away even though I scroll through all missed calls. It seems that the icon goes away at its own will and the only way to immediately remove it is it clear my "all calls" list. Does anyone have a similar issue? Thanks.

another observation, it seems that on average gsm based phones are smaller and lighter than the cdma selection. i wonder if this has anything to do w/ their longer battery lives.

wabmorgan: thanks for the feedback - since my last post ive actually atempted to take a box cutter w/ razor blade and hack into the verizon holster - but did not get too far and quit. it seems as if the plastic got thicker towards the back of the holster. ive also ordered the one off vzw's website that has a different picture representation than the one obtained from the store (should be here in less than a week). ...

sorry norollovermin, but it looks like you are the one who needs to "get a clue" and get a life. at no point in my post did i threaten to sue VZW (that would be highly foolish, especially under the given fcc regulations and the liklihood that i probably signed away any possibility of reactivating my v60c). What i did do though was write a subject heading that read in a way to attracted attention - and it worked. ...

do you know where i can find this oem belt clip? ive searched motorola's website, no luck. in regards to your question, yea, while it may be easy to remove the phone from the clip, its annoying to do so. a million times easier to just plug it in w/o having two seperate parts to worry about. thanks!

NEXT MAJOR VZW LAW SUIT???
Dec 23, 2005, 8:14 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

Get this... 1 1/2 weeks ago I purchased the Razr. On my line I previously used a V60c. Unhappy with the Razr's terrible battery life, I planned to return it within the 15 "worry free" period - expecting that my account would be reverted to its original state. However, when attempting the return VZ hit me with a big surprise that I was NOT happy with. Apparently the FCC's regulation regarding E911 compliant phones went into effect and VZ ...

VZ BELT CLIP - UNABLE TO ACCESS USB PORT
Dec 23, 2005, 7:58 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

Has anyone come across a belt clip that does not block the USB / charging port on the V3c? The one that Verizon sells at its stores is a no go, but strange enough - the one pictured on VZW's website looks like it would work. Any recommendations for belt clips that allow for full functionality while the phone is in the clip? Thanks!

"MESSAGE" "CONTACTS" L/R Buttons
Dec 13, 2005, 10:11 AM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

3 Questions: 1. Is there any way to change up the L/R Buttons "Message" and "Contacts" - On my previous phones I've always set them to "Recent" and "Voice" and hate how difficult it is to get to those options now. 2. Is there anyway to have no wallpaper? 3. Is there anyway to change the overall "red" theme? Thanks!

V710 SETTLEMENT

Has anyone heard back from the settlement "administrator"? If you decided to return your equipment for a "replacement" does this mean that you will be reimbursed for the total cost of purchase (i.e.: $250). When and how will the funds be disbursed?

PRICE
Nov 21, 2005, 1:14 AM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

With ALLTEL's price of $199 for a 2-year contract... With TMobile's current promotion buy 1 get 1 free at a price of $199... Verizon better be sure to price the V3c at no higher than $199... This phone has been on the market long enough. In fact, the market is already flooded with them. It's not like were talking about the V60c when it first came out in '01 for $420. That was a different story, VZW was the first on the ...

MOTOROLA E815 v. V710
Oct 19, 2005, 4:14 PM
in the Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood forum

HELLO: Obviously the E815 is an update to the V710, but does it still have all of the inherent bluetooth problems (i.e.: limited capability)? I have a V710 and hacked the phone with the software that was floating around on the internet so that I would be able to sync the phone with my car (that has bluetooth built in from the factory). If I upgrade to the E815 will I have to go through the nerveracking process of hacking ...
