If you're going to use Cingular make sure the phone you purchase uses the 850mhz band. Without it you will almost certainly have reception problems.

They are not the only compnay to do this to their customers. Depending on their roaming agreement it can cost the company thousands upon thousands of dollars for a customer to be roaming more than %50 of the time. It may be a pain for the customer, but it makes better financial sense.

If your 8100 has recently released software inside then you are lucky enough to need to buy the mobile music essentials kit for 29.99 at your local VZ corporate store. It will come with everything you need to convert and transfer your music files to your 8100. Sorry for the sarcasm...this is how my VZW rep explained it to me. If you have Windows Media 10 installed on your PC you can convert the files using that ...

There are a few phones, and, honestly, I just don't remember which ones...maybe sanyo...thgat have memory built into the phone like a digital answering machine. The other person thinks they are leaving you a voicemail, but you can hear what they are saying. This happens after the phone is done ringing, though.

I'm pretty sure there is still a Sprint area wide plan that you can add lines to even though it is initially a single line plan. The add-a-lines are $20, though. It isn't an especially great value, but it is out there.

If you have had the phones for 2 years already, then I would recommend looking on ebay for the going rate of your particular phone. I don't know what amount you are hoping to get for your phones, but after 2 years I can't imagine getting more than 20 bucks depending on the model of the phone.
