Prediction: $480m cash is more than enough to buy the iPhone 5 which is CDMA ready. Couldn't afford it before, loosing customers in low church markets because of it. Sell off what is costing money to further solidify themselves in the markets that are profitable. Crazy that a phone has this kind of power.

Re: USCC-National Carrier....Since when?

in the U.S. Cellular forum

Actually, you are all wrong. US Cellular isn't just saying it to say it. We are now considered a national carrier. The FCC standards for a national carrier is that they must have a presence in 50% of the nation. USCC is present in 26 states making them a national carrier. Now granted we just made it, but those are the standards.

Well, if you want a 4G eventually, you would want to wait until the 4G devices are available. That being said, I don't know how long it will take for LTE to launch in other areas. I would get a phone now if you want/need it. If you are on a Belief Plan you can use your points to upgrade when those speeds are available in your area. I wouldn't let 3G v. 4G speeds effect my ...

Well if I had to guess...Motorola, with all there drama can only afford to focus on one area at this point and that is the Droid...which is exclusive to Verizon. They are not doing anything else. The end.

We have that plan! It also includes free incoming calls, N&W @ 7pm and mobile to mobile all nationwide. PLUS, one and done contracts, Belief Rewards Points, Battery Swap and other discounts can be applied as well! Starting tomorrow we are offering a $150 service credit for each new line activated with a smart phone!

A little clarification on the service credit. The $150 credit is available to customers that start a new line of service with a smartphone. So new customers and existing customers adding additional lines of service. Current customers that switch to a smartphone from a feature phone do not qualify for the service credit. Also the credit will be paid out in monthly $50 installments.

The reason The Belief Project is going to wake up the wireless industry is not just based on ground breaking value. We have to change the way we think about wireless. The industry is so cost based that customers have no clue about the value of what they are paying for...or currently lack there of. The Top 5 spend millions of $$ each year telling consumers what phone they should get with no focus on their ...

acutally since both devices will be running the Adnroid Platform, it is unfair to compare HTC WinMo devices with Samsung smartphones and feature devices. If you are a gamer and graphics are important or even just watching videos go with the galaxy, thanks to its super AMOLED screen. Versus the Desires OLED screen. However, the HTC Sense UI is one of the best overlays I've seen on a mobile – it's both stylish and functional. I am using the Acclaim, ...

I would recommend you find an associate in your area that is proficient with that handset or is Windows Mobile certified. Get an associate involved in your situation and trying to solve it. I have several customers come in that are not eligible for equipment but need a smartphone for work or have a personal want for a smartphone all the time. Now I can tell them no problem! Instead of "that will be $500+". They will still have their 30 day guarantee and if they aren't happy they can go back to their original term time and equipment. I had a father bring in his daughters phone to have her contacts moved to her new phone. After the transfer was complete I picked up her phone and noticed the welcome messege said I love BIG C**K along with a rather up close and personal picture of a man part. I am glad someone else has experienced what I did. And the post that said they talked to their AAE and they said it should be different if the customer is less than 30days out. Well I have talked to three different AAE's in my area and they hadn't heard anything of the sort. So I am still at a loss. I just gave my customer my old RAZR to use until she was eligible.

But see you arent telling your opinion or thoughts on the policy you are giving opinions of the posters. Not the reason of the post. If you do not work for USC then you do not know all that is involved with the DO and other practives other than what you read here. You will not have a respectful departure.
