actually I think there is an IDEN network in PR, I forgot the carriers name. people do atill have cellphones there and now if you have boost or virgin you can CALL or TEXT those places! :wink:

apparently they are back in stock. I ordered one a month ago and just got an email yesterday saying it was on its way! who knows though I may decide to sell it at this point I changed my main phone to the nextel side and all is good...

I noticed on cingulars website that there coverage maps for GSM nation differ from the Go Phone coverage maps ! Is it true that I will not have service in all of cingulars service area because I have a go phone? The reason why I want a go phone is for when I travel I wanted to have cingulars good coverage with me!

I Just dont like the idea of getting a phone that I have no idea where it came from, and plus all the unlocked versions I see on the web that are cheaper than the cingy version are different freqencies!

Yes you can! My friend is using an I860 on boost and all is well... Just remeber to call boost and tell them what phone you have so they can activate the features that your phone is capapble of using!

Yeah... Sprint is making hard for me to make this whole switch, so I keep everything how it is and just get the I875 and carry 2 phones. I dont live in the area where my number is from anymore so they wont let me port it over anyway!

Well its because in my comparison of the I875 and I870 I like the boost version better! It seems to be a bit slimmer and much better looking I think. I might just stay on boost and continue to use my sprint phone also. I like having the best of both worlds!

I seen a thing on sprints site that says you can bring your boost phone to the nextel network. But a sprint rep said it cannot be done, that boost phones do not work on the nextel network. I need a nextel phone. I was thinking that it would be great if I could get a I875 and use it on nextel with my old sprint number!!
