What I've done before
Is to check how much lifetime usage that phone has.

there's a little tab over on the bottom right of the card. mare sure that's not stuck on the write protect side. if it is, move it. or if it's missing you might need a new one.

I once helped someone check their voice mail that had been in there phone for months. as I did this they started to cry. it seems most of the messages were from her mother that had died just a few days past of cancer. messages from beyond or something...

and another rule for after hours fun at con. CHECK ID!!! if you're throwing an "H" room party or anything where liquor or rated X stuff is going to happen make sure you have someone at the door carding people. I've been kicked out of hotels before because of this, and NDK lost it's H room event because of this.
H Room = Hentai room. basicly running pr0n after all the offical events of the day end.
