No T-mobile store carry Samsung Galaxy S III 32 GB?
Is there a shortage? How come no retail store or even amazon.com carry Samsung Galaxy S III 32 GB? I was told the 32 GB is only available online through T-mobile site for a 2 yr contract. I was hoping to buy the phone outright. Online auction site mostly cells white color and seldom seen pebble blue. When is this going to be available on amazon or Tmo store?

I'm on the regular prepaid. I think it's called pay as you go. i'm planning to get the Nokia N900 that supports T-mobile's 3G band (1700/2100) frequency.
I was wondering if I will be able to use the 3G band with a regular prepaid account.

Does T-mobile USA have 3G voice? If it does, will I be able to use the 3G voice on prepaid account (not flexpay) using a smartphone with a 1700/2100 T-mo 3G frequency?

I heard Blackberry Bold 2 and the Nokia N900 (yes about time nokia made high end phone 1700/2100 for T-mo) coming to T-mobile. also heard about 21 mbps (depends on phone. N900 is capable up to 10 mbps). moreover, heard of unlimited data plan of $50 or $60 (voice, data, sms, mms). Lets hope all come true.
N900 definitely has T-mo 3g (1700/2100) and doesn't have At&t 3G
hope that the long delayed Nokia E72 will ...

I heard Blackberry Bold 2 and the Nokia N900 will on T-mobile. Also the 3G network increase to 21 Mbps. The Nokia N900 can go to 10Mbps. I'm not sure if this is the big news of T-mobile. I don't know if there are other high end phones beside the two. Wish Nokia would add 1700 frequency on e72 phones.

Yes IMEI. Network blacklist the phone so it will not work (in that network) even if another sim card of the same network is inserted.
Aren't IMEI (GSM) and ESN (CDMA) synonymous?

Nokia E72 NAM coming out this year?
I just saw the video of Nokia E72 that was said to be accidentally posted on youtube. Looks much better than E71 and said that jack will be the standard like E63. It comes in 3 colors. Anybody knows the detailed specs? Is the NAM version will be out this year? Hope it supports AWS 1700 for my T-mobile.

In other countries they block IMEI of the phone. Hmmmm surprise they don't do it over here in the US. Are you sure? Doesn't make sense they will let the phone thief use the phone by just inserting another same network SIM.

T-mobile has a record of the IMEI of that phone. Once reported of unauthorized/fraud upgrade to T-mobile, they will block that IMEI for T-mobile services. So the phone will not work in T-mobiles network. However, if the person is able to unlock the phone to be used with another GSM provider such as AT&T the phone can be used by that person unless T-mobile and AT&T have an agreement that in the case of stolen or fraud report that ...

Should have operator selection in Nokia phones. For your nokia phone try going to phone settings, look for operator selection there should be an option of automatic or manual. Choose manual and it will scan for network available. Then choose the network that is strong in that area. if it doesn't work Tmo might not have roaming agreement in that area.

Disappointed with both T-mobile and Nokia :( I'm a T-mo user since Voicestream days. T-mo a big company outside the US is so slow rolling out their 3G. Growth is really slow. Probably this is the reason very few wants (cellphone companies) to include the 1700 mhz freq. or maybe they thought T-mo is not going to push through it.
Why the odd 1700 mhz instead of 1900 mhz like At&t? Is there any advantages when using 1700?

How many times did you try calling? Try calling again. Customer rep varies some nice and helpful, some doesn't know stuff, some hard to talk to, etc.
What? "defect is only one that exists when the phone arrives"? You probably got into a Call center from another place?
Don't say LCD cracked say LCD leak. Cracked sounds like you've done somthing wrong with it.
I heard about problem regarding the external screen but don't know specifically what.

Where did you get the phone? If you get it from T-Mo or Cingular? They have 1 year warranty for the phone.

No bugs on wallpaper. You can get rid of the white border by zooming the picture. When you get to the picture with that white border notice the picture is small. Press the upper left hand key for options and click zoom.

Click: Menu --> Media --> Camera (cam will activate, you will see standard photo) --> click "option" thats the left upper outer corner bar then you will see selections of: video, night mode on, self-timer, etc.
Nokia 6101 screen question
When I close/fold the phone and then open it later on, it doesn't go to the main screen. It stays to where I last use it. Example when I check my inbox and close the phone and open it later on again the screen is still on the inbox section where I left off. It doesn't go to the mail screen. Anything wrong with the phone? Do I need to set up something? Is this normal?
