I didn't like VS. I suppose the biggest thing was can't voice dial from BT headset. I just let mine expire and the phone reverted back to it's regular voice functionality. I didn't have to uninstall or delete VS.

I bought mine on eBay ($7.95 including shipping) and it came from N.Y., I'm in Ca.
Had Cing activate and it works fine.
My local Cing store didn't have any. I called into Cing and they placed an order for one for me. It's been on backorder ever since, and that was about a month ago.
As loong as you find one cheap on eBay, I would say go for it.

I almost got a 6800 but reading that the keyboard did not lay flat, wobbled, I decicded not to and then shortly there after came out the 6620.
I'm still thinking about getting the usb keyboard. Although that makes for a seperate device to carry with you.

I'm not sure how crazy I am about those fold out keyboards. Mostly going by looks. Software is the same between all 3, I believe. Looked like the 60 and 70 were same screen size. Haven't looked at the specs closely.

I think I like the looks of the E60 better. But they are not talking currently of making one with the 850 band on it. I was talking with someone that said a friend said (at least it wasn't a friend of a friend of a....) that you have have the frequencies tweaked to your needs. Anyone ever hear of that being possible ?

Second time they have pulled. Probably due to many complaints about the two minor issues. Cleared call logs and copy to sim message. I would imagine they will this time keep it off until a firmware upgrade is released to correct these two issues. Not that big of an anoyance to me.
Btw, since going to the 32k sim, I am now up to about 15 recycles with the call log being cleared only once and ...

Sounds like it should bot be long for 1g to be available. I recently bought 1 512 mmc. Maybe I should wait for a 1g mmmc rather then get a 512 mmmc now.

1. I think eBay is reputable. Just stick to sellers with 98% or above ratings, which most all are. Personally, I like the silver.
2. I have never replaced a face plate. I don't image it is too difficult.

I never had the lag with this phone with the 64k or on my 6620. I'm not talking about the slowness like if you try to go into the menu immenidately after power up. That I have experienced on both phones... like the OS is still loading up... similar to a pc. I waited like 10 seconds, go into the menu and get just the theme background with 3 or 4 seconds later, icons appearing. ...
32k Sim - No Go
Got my 32k sim today. First 4 power cycles, logs still there. The 5th time, call logs gone :o Oh well. Guess patiently await the firmware upgrade.
On a side note... I got my sim on eBay from N.Y., I am in L.A.. No prob activating it. So appears sims are not market area restricted.

Yeah, I went with 200 txt for 4.99 and figure I'll pay for MMS per, I don't do much. Kind of blows that they don't have a package with unlimited data. The best they have, 19.99, is 10mb, 1000 txt, 40 mms.

well, if you have sticky keys... I don't know of how to fix it, other than get another. Or find a local Nokia authorized service center and take it in there and see if they have an easy way to clean or repair it.

I haven't experienced those problems nor do I recall it being widely reported. Perhaps you just got one with a bad keypad and should return it for another.

Download to your pc and then install the sis file to your phone using PC Suite.
You can view all you want but in order to download, you have to join, which is free. And you can download 20, themes, ringtones, wallpapers and any other free downloads they have (total combined) per day for free.

I set up my Yahoo. I didn't think I had to enter any server settings. Just entered my id and password. I presume it is set by default to use MediaNet. I don't really ever use it, but I just setup my AIM. Just went into the IM client, chose AIM, entered userid/password, and tada! Are you giving it enough time... took about 30 seconds to login.

So are you inclined now to believe, as I think was mentioned in another post, the 32k sim is only a temporary fix, the issues will return eventually ? Sure, the ultimate fix is a firmware upgrade to better work w/64k.
My 32k sim shipped yesterday (bought on eBay).
I am wondering whether or not to bother now having it activated. I will IF Cingular 100% assures me that I can reactivate my 64k if I so desire. ...
