SONY ERICSSON doesn't produce CDMA phones. As far as I know they only work with GSM technologies, so most likely they'll never have them.

They base replacement phones in FEATURES, the only thing that the A670 has over the 8910 is the video capture, which not that many people use anywyas. FYI, if Asurion EVEN had to replace the A670 for the 8910 is because Verizon determined them to do so. People love to talk ....

you can get new or refurb, depending on stock availability, if your phone is discontinued, the insurance company has to replace you with the same unit, so if they don't have it new (they prioritize new units), then they have to send you a refurb.

QUICK FYI -- Phones dropped in toilet are not accepted back by the insurance company, people can just flush them or throw them away Second - EVEN a manufacturer's warranty will return you a re-furbished phone unless you report this within 14 day of buying it new Third - $50 Deductible is what the insurance charges just like you are paying your car insurance for years and then you get a booboo on your car and you gotta dish out $500-$1000 ...

Dude, look as an insurance company Asurion is trying to prevent fraud as much as possible. AS a rep you will soon find out that some people know how to work the system and get what they want. Unfortunatelly because of a few bad apples a few policies HAD to be re-arranged to accomodate both the carrier and the insurance company, therefore all customers had to abide by the new processes. I apologize to this customer ...

Does anyone know if there is an update out there yet to stop the humming noises on the razor v3c? and does the razor v3m have this problem? Any help is appreciated.

That would be really helpful but unfortunatelly customers lie like there is no tomorrow. I'm in the verifications team at asurion and trust me this people that call in to get DIFFERENT models other than the one they actually own. they think we are that naive lol

Is there any possible way to keep the keyguard from automatically locking the exterior keypad, having the press ok everytime you even check the time is annoying! I've tried to go through the settings and I can't find a way to stop that, any takes?

I wouldn't give razors a chance, I went through two of those pieces of sh!t, I made the same mistake, left sprint just to have a razor and the carrier is pretty awesome but the phone sucked

yeah you can, if you do a picture text to your email it will transfer the pictures, however make sure sure you have picture texting plan and not only plain text.

Thanks to all the ones who reviewed this phone for me! the 9800 so far kicks butt! I got it yesterday, yeah is kinda "bricky" and heavy but other than that everything is awesome! xoxo LORI

Well I'm not a Tmo rep but I process insurance claims for Tmobile and we get so many bad razor phones like you can't believe. with the razor is all about the fever because everone and their dog has one (trust me I made that mistake with verizon and I regret it), but with the GSM razor we have TONS of problems plus is very fragile (which you should take good care of your phone anyways). that sounds awesome :) I really wanted the pink phone so that's why I chose the razor but this 9800 was my second choice and looks like I'm getting it after all, so far pretty good ... anyone has any other review on it..(yeah I know I can go to the reviews section of this phone), but I want reps and techs opinions.

Hi! well I would like to get some honest opinions about the LG VX-9800, I ask verizon reps due to the fact that they deal with both issues and returns on a daily basis, It would be greately appreciated if I could get some of your opinions.. Pros, cons... blah blah... I am getting rid of my pink razor V3c, because I'm tired of the humming/high pitch sound mine does, they keep promissing an update but honestly the noise ...

Most of the time with phonescoop when certain phones are close to their release dates, they show you the phone and next to the carrier it shows "tentative", are you sure about this models being relased? they are not even coming up at all, people won't even know what they look like until they hit the stores? is that how it is? I've been researching the KATANA for a while and is still not coming up ...

I guess because we are used to "the customer is always right mentality" and since we think that we believe that speaking to a higher authority will change things, often doesn't happen but we still want to quench the thirst of getting away with what we want to we keep escalating .. I guess.. that makes sense to me anyways. "The customer is always right" is BS most of the time

The reason why they are so "evil" that they won't let you use sim cards is because Verizon is a CDMA market, which means that they are ran differently than the GSM market (who works with sim cards), is like trying to use diesel fuel in a regular gas car. Complete different technology and network, IF you want to use SIM cards I would look into Cingular or TMobile

no honey i'm not confused about it, I was just wondering how the lockline side of things worked that's all.. you evidently don't work for lockline if someone works for lockline maybe THEY can help answer my question. I'm not confused about the concept of insurance, I deal with it everyday with Asurion and even if your account was cancelled/closed if you claim with the peril date when your account was active and you were paying your ...

Actually some of the rules and regulations of lockline or what's left of it is different :( right now .. Asurion is taking over some of verizon's lockline accounts since asurion has most of verizon's markets anyway but as far as sprint it has always been lockline and has worked differently, I was with sprint for 6 years or so and dealt with lockline maybe 2 times during that whole time, not sure if anything has changed there since ...
