is anybodys ringer volume too low. i have it turned all the way up but it just doesnt seem to be loud enough. even the media volume is low. is this common on this phone.

i should be getting my X on monday. i hope i didn't make a mistake by returning my evo 4g to sprint and getting the X.

i bought one off of ebay with a skull on the back and i havent had any problems yet.it doesn't make the phone feel to bulky and it fits in the sprint vertical leather case with the expandable sides.

my question is ,if i take a picture with my evo, how do i send to my friends email.she has a comcast email address.
battery question
i have a battery question. does the droid incredible and the evo 4g take the same battery. reason is,i was looking for an extended battery for my evo on ebay and on some of the batteries it says that it will fit both. so i checked for an incredible battery and there is alot more to choose from.just curious. thanks.
need a little advice.
hey , what are some battery saving tips. ive only had it on for a couple of hours and it is already down to half power.i do have a live wallpaper running, i tried to set it a picture i took but the picture looks horrible as a background. my 4g settings are turned off. what else can i do to make the battery last longer. and help would be great. thank you.

can the evo 4g use mp3's as ringtones just like the incredible, and i'm trying to decide which way to go. stay with verizon or jump ship and and go to sprint.

as i read through the forum, i see alot of complaints about this phone, some minor. but what i would like to know is , if i get this phone(this would be my first smartphone , so forgive me for being stupid in this area)what would i have to do or get to have this phone running at peak performance.

i got my phone flashed with version 7 today and after i got home i noticed that i no longer have a folder titled MY MP3. i had songs on my card but now the phone doesnt reconize any of them. i reformatted the card and nothing. how do i get my phone to reconize mp3s and play them now. any help would be grateful.thank you

that didnt work either. i just cant figure out why im having so much trouble with 1 song. its in mp3 format, i have enough memory , it goes on the card,it plays fine on my pc,i even scanned it with norton but the phone wont reconize it being there.

for some strange reason i cant get one song to show up on the phone. its on the card , when its in the computer but it wont show on the phone.its in mp3 format.i even deleted a few songs off the card because i thought the memory was full. its a 512mb card,i have 96 songs on it, it can only hold about 98, only because some of my songs run 6 to 12 minutes. so if memory ...

fargin a , i got the damn thing working and it is awesome . i personally want to thank all of you for all your help and input. the problem was even though the songs said they were mp3 , they werent , i downloaded a free mp3 converter ,did it, and it worked. F#*K Y*#H. im about as happy as a pig in s**t. thank you again all of you.

i made sure that i have version 4 . when the card is in the phone ,if i hold down the the front button it says no songs found in memory card. when i take the card out of the phone,i put it in the adapter piece and then in the reader, and then in my usb port in the front of my computer. i open up my computer, then my sd drive 'which is f on my computer' ...

it wont even reconize a one word song title that is an mp3 ,to give you an example the song title is evil by mercyful fate. when the card is in the computer , i tried to putting them the my sounds folder and my mp3s folder then i put the card back in the phone and nothing shows up. on the phone i have it set to save pics and flics to the phone and sounds to the ...

main screen going black
i dont know why but after i got the update i tried putting mp3s as a ringtone and my main screen goes black after a few minutes, i close the phone and open it again and its still black. i had to delete the mp3s because 1. they wouldnt play 2. they arent on my card 3. i lost my downloaded ringtones and had to get them back.so does anybody know whats going on.i show the mp3s on the ...

i just got off the phone with a vzw tech in georgia and he said that they are aware of an update to get the mp3 player working and nothing else, he also said that it should be out by the end of the year. im going to call my local store here in baltimore to see what they can tell me.

did anybody else notice that they removed the mp3 player off the homepage of the vx 8100 and changed it to music player.
mini sd card
i have a stupid question. im sure this has already been answered but i put a few songs on the card and my phone doesn't reconize anything on it. when i put it in the computer they are there. what am i doing wrong or what step am i forgeting. are they not being reconized because the mp3 player isn't active yet.any help would be grateful.

i just called the vzw store here in baltimore md and the guy told me that the mp3 player will be activated by the end of the 4th quarter or when the mod is launched.so an update is in the future , i hope
